Match the screen

Flat screen or tube? Start with the shape.

The TV’s type and size determine which item to choose. A new model and an old model can use the same option if their shape and screen size match.

Flat-screen TVs

Measure the screen diagonally, corner to corner, without the frame. Choose under 42 inches or 42 inches and larger. A TV measuring exactly 42 inches belongs to the larger option.

Tube TVs

An older tube or CRT television has curved glass and a deep, heavy body. Choose Tube TV even if its screen is small. A rear-projection TV is different; send a photo before booking so we can check the fit.

TV stands and other electronics

The TV price covers the television. Add a media console, computer monitor or other item separately if it is going too. Choose only what you want removed and review the combined price.

Taking it somewhere yourself?

Self haul in Keizer means Marion County, and the county runs three different kinds of site. The Salem-Keizer Recycling & Transfer Station at 3250 Deer Park Dr. SE in Salem is the everyday site, open seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and priced by weight; its household hazardous waste facility sits in the first building on the left and opens only on Thursdays from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., free for household quantities of five gallons or less. The North Marion Recycling & Transfer Station at 17827 Whitney Lane NE in Woodburn opens daily from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and charges all demolition material the same fee as garbage, though it no longer takes tip loads. Construction material can also go to the Brown's Island Demolition Landfill at 2895 Faragate St S in Salem on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., where it is charged by the cubic yard with a fifty dollar minimum from July 1, 2026 and the county notes that lightweight material may cost less at the transfer station because that site charges by weight; the same property runs a compost facility that takes only yard debris, at a fifteen dollar per cubic yard minimum, and refuses lumber, rocks, sod and dirt. Every county site requires identification on entering, an unrestrained load is charged an extra ten dollars and the charge doubles for each repeated occurrence, and household hazardous waste cannot be brought through the transfer station or recycling areas at all. Marion County Salem-Keizer Recycling & Transfer Station page with the Deer Park Drive address, telephone number and seven day 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. hours, the twenty five dollar charge for appliances that were designed to contain refrigerant and the requirement that a professional remove the refrigerant with DEQ documentation, the rule that household hazardous waste is prohibited at the transfer stations, the ten dollar unrestrained load fee, and the accepted payment typesMarion County North Marion Recycling & Transfer Station page with the Whitney Lane address in Woodburn, the daily 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. hours, the end of tip loads at that site, and the rule that all demolition material is charged the same fee as garbageMarion County Brown's Island Demolition Landfill page with the Faragate Street address and Monday to Friday hours, the fifty dollar per cubic yard construction materials charge with a fifty dollar minimum from July 1 2026, the note that lightweight material may cost less at the Salem-Keizer station because that rate is based on weight, the permit restriction on accepted material, and the Brown's Island Compost Facility rule that only yard debris is accepted with a fifteen dollar per cubic yard minimumMarion County household hazardous waste page with the collection facility at the Salem-Keizer transfer station, the Thursday 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. hours, free acceptance from non business Marion County residents, the five gallon container limit and the refusal of fifty five gallon drums, the pre approval duty for larger or repeated quantities, and the requirement to bring material in original or resealable containers boxed to prevent spillsMarion County disposal locations page listing the Brown's Island Demolition Landfill with the construction debris rate change to fifty dollars a yard from July 1 2026, the North Marion Recycling & Transfer Station, the Salem-Keizer Recycling & Transfer Station, the Household Hazardous Waste Facility with its Thursday hours, and the notice that all sites require identification on entering

Before you book

A few things
worth knowing.

TV removal, from choosing your item to pickup day in Keizer.

How much does TV removal cost in Keizer?

A flat-screen TV under 42 inches is $79 as the first item and $19 as an additional item. Larger flat screens and tube TVs have their own prices. Loading, transportation and disposal are included. Choose the type that matches your TV and review your total, including any applicable tax, before payment.

Can I get same-day TV pickup in Keizer?

Book by 2pm at your pickup address for same-day pickup. Choose from the dates offered at checkout and have the TV outside according to your confirmation. We text you when your hauler is on the way and provide photos when the pickup is done.

Will Dropcurb remove my TV from the wall or carry it downstairs?

You arrange unmounting, disconnection and indoor carrying before pickup. Dropcurb starts at an accessible outdoor location, where we load your TV and take it away. If you need help removing a mounted TV or moving a heavy tube TV outside, arrange that separately before your pickup day.

Do you pick up old tube or CRT televisions?

Yes. Choose Tube TV for an older television with curved glass and a deep, heavy body. Its price is $249 as the first item and $249 as an additional item. A rear-projection television is a different item; send a photo before booking rather than choosing the tube-TV option.

Does my old TV have to work?

Your TV does not need to turn on for removal. Choose its type and size and arrange to have it outside before pickup. A non-working TV and a TV with exposed broken glass are different situations; send a photo of unusual damage so we can confirm the plan before you book.

Is television recycling really free in Oregon?

Yes, through Oregon E-Cycles: anyone may bring seven or fewer computers, monitors, televisions and printers at a time to a participating collection site for free recycling, and keyboards and mice are free as well. Other types of electronics are not part of the program, so those items need another route.Official guidance

Who is the garbage company for a Keizer address?

It depends on the street. Keizer splits refuse and recycling between two companies on one lookup map, with Loren's Sanitation serving the green areas and Valley Recycling serving the orange areas, and the city lists a telephone number for each so a household can confirm which one bills the address.Official guidance

Garbage and demolition material are charged by weight at the Salem-Keizer and North Marion stations, and construction material is charged by the cubic yard at Brown's Island.Official guidance
