Florence runs one curbside program for household garbage, yard waste and single-stream recycling, and it draws a hard line around everything else. Brown goods, white goods, tires, construction debris and scrap metal are written out of the yard waste rules on purpose, and the city sends residents to the fifteen Florence County drop-off sites instead.
