Match your item

Construction cleanup starts with the right items.

We currently accept the doors, toilets and bathroom vanities listed here, already detached and ready outside. Choose each item separately. Mixed drywall, tile, concrete, lumber and demolition rubble are not accepted, including in bags.

Doors

Count each detached door panel separately. Have it removed from its hinges before pickup. A whole installed doorway or garage door is not the same item.

Toilets

Choose Toilet for an ordinary household toilet that has already been disconnected, drained and moved outside. Text a photo before booking if yours is broken or has loose sharp pieces.

Bathroom vanities

Choose the small, standard or large bathroom vanity that matches your sink cabinet. A makeup table has a separate choice. Plumbing disconnection and removal from the wall happen before pickup.

Monthly bulky waste collection

Accepted with preparation

Allen households get one bulky collection each month: up to six cubic yards on the same Saturday every month, with every item under 150 pounds and household debris boxed within a two foot by two foot by four foot container weighing no more than 50 pounds.

City cost & eligibility
No charge. Included with the residential franchise service, once a month per household, up to six cubic yards with each item under 150 pounds and containerized household debris within the published box and weight limits. Items outside the bulk category need a special collection arranged with the operator, which carries an additional charge.
When & how
No call is needed for the monthly collection. A Monday trash day gives the first Saturday of the month, Tuesday the second, Wednesday or Thursday the third, and Friday the fourth, and items go out by 7 a.m. on that Saturday.
Get it ready
Keep each item under 150 pounds, box household debris in a container no larger than two feet by two feet by four feet weighing no more than 50 pounds, and leave prohibited material out of the pile: contractor debris, fence materials, tires, batteries, propane tanks, car parts, household chemicals, loose debris and any single item over the weight limit.

Construction and renovation debris

Special rules apply

Commercial construction and remodeling debris is prohibited from the bulky collection. A household container within the published box limit can go out with the monthly bulk, and anything larger is a special collection or a self-haul trip.

City cost & eligibility
No rate is published for construction material. Call the operator on 972.392.9300 option 2 for a free estimate on a special collection, or confirm the gate charge at the transfer station before hauling the load yourself.
When & how
Call the operator for a special collection, or take the load to the Custer Road Transfer Station at 9901 Custer Road, open Monday to Saturday 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on 972.727.6341.
Get it ready
Containerize household debris to the published box rule of no larger than two feet by two feet by four feet and no more than 50 pounds, keep fence materials and loose debris out of the pile, and do not put contractor-generated material at the curb.

Community Waste Disposal under the City of Allen franchise

Arrange a special collection through the operator

An Allen household with an item that falls outside the bulky category, or with a load larger than the six cubic yard monthly allowance.

Cost & conditions
A special collection carries an additional charge set by the operator, and estimates are free. Call Community Waste Disposal on 972.392.9300 option 2 for the price before the item goes out.
Arrange it
Call 972.392.9300 option 2, describe the item or load, and book the collection with the operator. Missed trash, recycling and bulky collections are reported to the same number.

The special collection is the route only for items the operator agrees to take, so confirm acceptance as well as the price, and remember that household chemicals still go through the city's hazardous waste programme.

Taking it somewhere yourself?

Allen's curbside system covers most of a clean-out. Trash is weekly in a 95-gallon cart with bags inside and the lid closed, recycling is every other week and compost every week on the same day, and loose brush can be scheduled once a month up to three cubic yards by calling the operator by noon Tuesday. Large items ride the monthly bulky Saturday, which takes up to six cubic yards from a household with each item under 150 pounds and household debris boxed in a container no larger than two feet by two feet by four feet and no heavier than 50 pounds. Furniture, televisions, mattresses, appliances and tagged cooling units are on the acceptable list, while contractor debris, tires, batteries, propane tanks, car parts and household chemicals are prohibited and have to go through a special collection or the city's hazardous waste programme. For a self-haul trip, the Custer Road Transfer Station at 9901 Custer Road takes extra trash and bulk Monday to Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on 972.727.6341. Before you book

A few things
worth knowing.

Construction debris removal, from choosing your item to pickup day in Allen.

How much does construction debris removal cost in Allen?

Pricing is per accepted item. A detached door is $99 as a single item, an ordinary toilet is $79, and a small bathroom vanity is $99. Larger vanities have their own choices. Select the listed items to see the exact combined price. These prices do not cover mixed rubble or loose building materials. Loading, transportation and disposal are included; applicable sales tax appears before payment.

Can I get same-day toilet or vanity pickup in Allen?

Book by 2pm at your pickup address for same-day pickup, where available. Checkout shows the dates you can choose. Arrange disconnection, removal and the move outside first, then have the fixture ready by the time in your confirmation. We text you before arrival and provide pickup photos when it is done.

Will you disconnect a sink or take a door off its hinges?

The fixture must already be detached, disconnected and accessible outside at ground level. Arrange plumbing, electrical work, removal from walls or hinges, and indoor carrying before pickup. Dropcurb handles loading and haul-away from your outdoor pickup spot.

Can I add bags of drywall, tile or other demolition waste?

Mixed drywall, tile, concrete, lumber and demolition rubble are not accepted. This page offers pickup for the listed doors, toilets and bathroom vanities that are already removed. Do not book loose building materials as household trash bags or as an extra item. Arrange suitable disposal for those materials with your contractor or a debris specialist.

Can a door, toilet and vanity go in the same pickup?

Yes. Add each listed fixture separately and choose the correct vanity size. Each detached door panel counts as one item. The combined price appears before you book. Keep the fixtures together outside, separate from anything staying, and add a location photo on your order page.
