City cost & eligibility
No charge. Included with the residential franchise service, once a month per household, up to six cubic yards with each item under 150 pounds and containerized household debris within the published box and weight limits. Items outside the bulk category need a special collection arranged with the operator, which carries an additional charge.

When & how
Set the appliance out by 7 a.m. on the household's monthly bulky Saturday. Arrange the refrigerant certification before a refrigerator, freezer or air conditioner goes to the curb.
Get it ready
Empty the unit, remove or seal the doors so nothing can be trapped inside, remove oil and gas from a lawnmower, take the propane tank off a grill, and have the refrigerant removal certified by tag for a cooling appliance.
Trash is weekly and recycling and compost run on the same day, with recycling every other week. Carts go out no later than 7 a.m. for a pickup window between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m., at least three feet apart and three feet from mailboxes, cars, fences, gas meters and drainage ditches, with 16 feet of clearance above the cart and the wheels facing the residence. Carts come back inside or behind the front building line within 24 hours.
