Couch & furniture removal in BeaumontCity collection Furniture is named in the city's heavy trash list along with mattresses, so a couch goes out on the regular pickup day for a single family residential address rather than needing an appointment. Heavy trash is part of the weekly residential service and the city publishes no per piece fee for furniture, so the published charges nearby are the additional 96 gallon containers at 5.00 per month each with a 20.00 one-time delivery fee, and the landfill rules where a resident hauling a single family load pays nothing while a contractor pays. Confirm the collection day with Garbage Services on 409-842-1483.

Mattress & bed removal in BeaumontCity collection Mattresses are named in the same heavy trash list as furniture, so bedding goes out weekly on the regular pickup day for a single family residential address. No mattress fee is published because heavy trash rides the weekly residential service, and the published charges around it are the extra container fees and the landfill terms where resident self haul is free and contractor disposal is charged. Confirm with Garbage Services on 409-842-1483.

No per appliance fee is published for the curbside heavy trash route, while a contractor hauling the same unit to the municipal landfill is charged and a resident hauling their own single family load is not. Confirm the route and the collection day with Garbage Services on 409-842-1483, and note that the regional commission's events refuse appliances outright.

Bags & household clutter in BeaumontCity collection Heavy trash is collected weekly on the regular pickup day, but only for single family residential customers, and the city names what belongs in it: large yard waste, tree trunks cut down to size, furniture and mattresses, appliances, and a maximum of four tires a year. Businesses, churches, apartment buildings, construction sites and vacant lots are excluded and must take their material to the landfill. The city describes heavy trash as part of the weekly residential service and publishes no per item fee for it, so the published money facts are the extra container fees of 5.00 per month each with a one-time 20.00 delivery fee, and the landfill rules where residents who haul their own single family debris pay nothing while contractors and businesses are charged. The local disposal guide
Beaumont collects waste with its own crews and disposes into its own landfill, and it publishes the rules in a way that makes the split clear. Garbage Services provides weekly garbage, weekly small yard waste, weekly used motor oil and filter collection, and weekly heavy trash, all on the regular route day for route based service. The heavy trash list is where large items live: furniture and mattresses, appliances, large yard waste with limbs up to eight feet long, and a maximum of four tires a year, all for single family residential customers only, because businesses, churches, apartment buildings, construction sites and vacant lots are excluded. Ordinary garbage has to be inside the 96 gallon container, and waste left outside it will not be collected and can bring a ticket and a fine, while heavy trash is expected outside the container in separate neat piles. Residents who would rather haul their own load pay nothing at the municipal landfill on Lafin Drive with proof of residency, as long as they pay for garbage service, while contractors and businesses are charged. Paint, chemicals and other household hazardous items are not a city service: the South East Texas Regional Planning Commission runs free collection events several times a year, and it also takes scrap tires, with the first eight free.

Furniture is named in the city's heavy trash list along with mattresses, so a couch goes out on the regular pickup day for a single family residential address rather than needing an appointment.
Mattresses are named in the same heavy trash list as furniture, so bedding goes out weekly on the regular pickup day for a single family residential address.
Appliances are named in the city's heavy trash list, so a refrigerator, washer or stove goes out on the regular pickup day with the rest of the heavy trash for a single family residential address, and the same material is excluded from the regional hazardous waste events.
Neither the city nor the regional commission publishes an electronics route: the heavy trash list does not name electronics and the commission's events explicitly refuse electronic waste, so a screen or a computer has to be confirmed before it is set out.
City crews do not collect heavy trash from construction sites, and contractors and businesses are charged at the landfill while residents hauling their own single family debris are not, so renovation material has a published route at a price for whoever generated it.
Exercise equipment is not named in the heavy trash list, which covers large yard waste, trunks, furniture, mattresses, appliances and four tires a year, so a machine has to be confirmed with Garbage Services before it goes out.
Tires have two published routes: a maximum of four tires a year on the weekly heavy trash collection, and the regional commission's scrap tire collection at its hazardous waste events, where the first eight tires are free and each additional tire costs a dollar in cash.
Household chemicals are not a city service. The South East Texas Regional Planning Commission hosts free collection events several times a year where paints, cleaners, antifreeze, batteries, oil, automotive waste, insecticides, pool chemicals, mercury and fluorescent bulbs are accepted, with explosives, compressed gas cylinders, appliances, electronic waste and some named pesticide families refused.
The handoff matters
Garbage Services provides residential garbage collection once a week, small yard waste collection once a week, used motor oil and oil filter collection once a week, and heavy trash collection once a week. Regular collection is route based, so the pickup day comes from Garbage Services on 409-842-1483. Containers must be curbside by 7 a.m. on collection day and removed by 8 p.m. the same day, and the city asks that they not be left out overnight. Ordinary garbage has to be inside the 96 gallon container: waste that is outside the container will not be collected and could result in a ticket and fine. The city also asks residents to donate reusable items and to hold odorous waste such as seafood, meat and old food until collection day.

The published list is large yard waste with limbs and branches up to eight feet long, tree trunks larger than twelve inches in diameter cut to a maximum two foot length, furniture and mattresses, appliances, and a maximum of four tires per year. Heavy trash from any other entity has to go to the landfill, and city crews do not collect heavy trash from businesses, churches, apartment buildings, construction sites or vacant lots. Everything must be stacked neatly in separate piles and never under low overhead utility lines or trees, on top of water lines or near water meters.

The city lists large yard waste with limbs and branches up to eight feet long, tree trunks over twelve inches in diameter cut to a maximum two foot length, furniture and mattresses, appliances, and a maximum of four tires per year. Heavy trash is collected weekly on the regular pickup day but the service is limited to single family residential customers, because businesses, churches, apartment buildings, construction sites and vacant lots have to take their material to the landfill instead.Official guidance
Yes. Furniture and mattresses are named in the city's heavy trash list, and heavy trash is collected weekly on the regular pickup day with the service limited to single family residential customers. The piles have to be stacked neatly and kept away from low overhead utility lines, trees, water lines and water meters, and the city asks residents to donate items that could be reused.Official guidance
On the curb with the heavy trash, because mattresses are named in the city's heavy trash list alongside furniture. Heavy trash is collected weekly on the regular pickup day for single family residential customers, and the material has to be stacked neatly in separate piles away from low overhead utility lines, trees, water lines and water meters.Official guidance
Either on the curb with the weekly heavy trash, because appliances are named in the city's heavy trash list, or by self hauling the unit to the municipal landfill on 5895 Lafin Dr., where residents with proof of Beaumont residency are not charged for landfill disposal of debris they haul themselves from their single family residences, as long as they pay for garbage service. Contractors and businesses are charged, and the regional hazardous waste events do not accept appliances.Official guidance
The city publishes no electronics collection and the heavy trash list does not name electronics, while the South East Texas Regional Planning Commission states that its household hazardous waste events do not accept electronic waste. That leaves a call to Garbage Services on 409-842-1483 to confirm whether the municipal landfill on 5895 Lafin Dr. will take the device, since residents who haul their own single family debris there are not charged.Official guidance
The city's own Solid Waste Division, through Garbage Services, which provides weekly garbage, small yard waste, used motor oil and oil filter collection and heavy trash. Regular collection is route based, so the day comes from Garbage Services on 409-842-1483, and the office is at 4955 Lafin Dr. open Monday to Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.Official guidance
Ordinary garbage does, and the city is explicit about the consequence: all garbage other than heavy trash items such as old furniture, household furnishings and yard waste must be placed inside the 96 gallon container, and waste that is outside the container will not be collected and could result in a ticket and a fine. Heavy trash is the exception and is expected outside the container in separate neat piles.Official guidance
No services are provided on New Year's Day, the Fourth of July, Thanksgiving Day or Christmas Day, and when one of those holidays falls on a collection day the schedule shifts to the following day, which leaves the last collection of that week on the Friday. All other holidays are regular working days for collections and for the landfill.Official guidance
Proof of Beaumont residency, such as a garbage service utility bill or a driver's license, and the load has to be debris the citizen hauls personally from a single family residence. Residents must also pay for garbage disposal to qualify for no charge at the landfill, and contractors such as roofers, lawn services and tree trimmers are charged, as is trash from businesses regardless of who hauls it.Official guidance
Yes. The Special Assistance Program supports qualifying seniors and disabled residents who are the sole residents at the address and have no able-bodied support that can assist them. It is a courtesy service at no additional cost, restricted to one 96 gallon container per service date, and the city reserves the right to administer or refuse it. Applicants call the Solid Waste Department on 409-842-1483 and are contacted within five working days to schedule an interview.Official guidance
Yes. The city's programs page states that Beaumont offers a number of free services to help citizens keep their neighborhoods clean and free of trash and litter, with details on 409-842-1483, and the Adopt-A-Street program lets individuals and organizations adopt a stretch of roadway for two years in exchange for twin recognizing signs and at least two cleanups a year, with a project summary filed within ten days and a call within 48 hours to arrange disposal of what was collected.Official guidance
