Get it ready
Erase stored data, keep cables with the device where practical, and never put electronics in the recycling cart or in a free dump day load, because the blue carts are for recyclables and the Turkey Creek Landfill does not accept electronics.
The free dump day is a resident trip with its own rules
A City of Crowley resident with a current water bill and an ID that matches it may bring up to one ton of waste to the Turkey Creek Landfill at 9100 South I-35 in Alvarado, twice a year, for construction material, demolition material, fencing or yard waste only. The landfill is open Monday to Friday 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday 7 a.m. to 11 a.m., requires hard hats and safety vests on site for all dumpers, and refuses putrescible waste, electronics, dirt, batteries, chemicals, solar panels and tires.
Use a permitted, accessible outdoor spot. Arrange the move out of your home, keep shared access clear and follow your confirmation’s readiness instructions. Check with your building about access or staging limits before booking.
