When & how
Check the published brush and bulky item collection zone for the address, put the piece on the parkway in front of the home a few feet away from any brush pile, and have it out by Sunday night before the scheduled collection week.
Get it ready
Keep the piece off the street and away from mailboxes, poles and low wires, do not tie or bundle it with the brush, and note that a pile with metal, stones, lumber or root balls is not collected.

Branches have to measure between 3 and 6 feet and be no thicker than 6 inches, stacked neatly with cut ends toward the street, and must not be tied or bundled for the free program.
