The city and hauler publish no mattress rule and no per item charge, because bulky collection is inside the franchised residential service, so confirm the set with Community Waste Disposal at 972.392.9300 option 2 before it goes to the kerb.
When & how
Call 972.392.9300 option 2 first, and if the set is accepted put it beside the trash receptacle by 7:00 am on a Wednesday.
Get it ready
Keep the mattress dry and whole, take the frame and headboard off because they are separate pieces, keep it inside the four cubic yard limit and under 150 pounds, and never put bedding in the recycling cart.
Trash is collected once a week on Wednesday from the household's own receptacle, and recycling is collected the same day from the CWD poly-cart. Both go to the front kerb by 7 a.m., with the trash receptacles and the recycling cart at least ten feet apart and three feet from obstacles such as mailboxes, cars, fences, gas meters and drainage ditches, and the recycling cart goes out with the wheels toward the residence and the lid closed.

Arrange it
Put the items next to the trash receptacle by 7:00 am on the regular Wednesday collection day, and tie and bundle brush in four foot lengths weighing no more than fifty pounds per bundle.
Single items weighing more than 150 pounds, commercial construction and remodelling debris, concrete, rock, stone, household hazardous waste, tires, batteries, propane tanks and loose uncontainerised debris are all refused, and household debris has to be bagged or boxed in a container no larger than two feet by two feet by four feet weighing under fifty pounds.
