Count each detached door panel separately. Have it removed from its hinges before pickup. A whole installed doorway or garage door is not the same item.
Toilets
Choose Toilet for an ordinary household toilet that has already been disconnected, drained and moved outside. Text a photo before booking if yours is broken or has loose sharp pieces.
Bathroom vanities
Choose the small, standard or large bathroom vanity that matches your sink cabinet. A makeup table has a separate choice. Plumbing disconnection and removal from the wall happen before pickup.

Construction debris is refused with the normal trash and refused as heavy trash, and the City puts the responsibility squarely on the resident. The published routes are a roll-off container to a Type IV landfill, a monthly drop-off at the AmeriWaste facility, a nearby landfill trip, or a dumpster bag pickup.

Roll-off containers come from the approved subcontractor Hill Sand, Inc. on 281-482-1213, the nearby landfills are not associated with AmeriWaste and may charge a fee, and a scheduled AmeriWaste dumpster bag pickup carries a pickup fee, so confirm the route and the price before the work produces the material.

Get it ready
Keep construction debris out of the trash and out of the heavy trash pile, and keep the named non-serviceable items separate, including bricks, concrete, carpet, tile, sheet rock, shingles, roofing, plywood, propane tanks and tires. Debris has to be in a roll-off or a purchased dumpster bag rather than loose at the curb.
The two streams that leave the curbside route entirely
Two groups never go out with the trash or the heavy trash. Electronics are hazardous under the City's rules, so televisions, computers and microwaves move through the household hazardous waste programme: a resident registers with AmeriWaste for one of four curbside pickups a year, restricted to televisions, electronics, microwaves and appliances, or takes the material to a spring or fall event at Hometown Heroes Park. Construction debris is the other exception, and it is the resident's own responsibility, because AmeriWaste does not collect it and the City requires it in roll-off containers disposed of at a Type IV landfill, with the AmeriWaste facility, nearby landfills and a fee-based dumpster bag pickup as the alternatives for smaller loads.

Who collects trash in League City?+
AmeriWaste League City, Inc. collects under contract with the City, serving more than 34,000 residential and commercial customers across three zones: yellow on Mondays and Thursdays, green on Tuesdays and Fridays and blue on Wednesdays and Saturdays. What will League City not take at the curb?+
Computers, televisions and microwaves are refused because the City treats them as hazardous waste, along with car parts and materials and construction waste. Heavy trash also refuses anything that two people cannot safely lift, and a refrigerator or freezer is refused unless a licensed technician has drained the refrigerant and attached a tag carrying the licence number and date of service.
