No charge. Town of Little Elm residential accounts on the Community Waste Disposal service, within the six cubic yards of bulky waste allowed at each scheduled bulk pickup; the same pieces are also accepted at the Courtesy Drop Site by residents with an active water or trash account.
When & how
Put the furniture in the grassy area between the sidewalk and the kerb in front of the home on the regular trash and recycling day of the household's bulk week, which is either the first and third week or the second and fourth week of the month, with everything out by 7 a.m.
Get it ready
Keep the pile inside six cubic yards, use the front kerb strip even if the regular carts are collected from the alley, and keep the refused material out: household hazardous waste, car parts, tires, batteries, loose debris and construction or remodeling debris are not collected on the bulk route. Loose material has to be boxed in a container no larger than 2 feet by 2 feet by 4 feet and under 50 pounds.
Weekly carts go out by seven and stay clear of obstacles
Trash and recycling are each collected once a week by Community Waste Disposal. Trash has to be bagged, both carts go to the kerb by 7 a.m. and are emptied between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. on the service day, lids have to be closed, and carts must sit at least three feet from obstacles such as mailboxes, cars, fences, gas meters and drainage ditches, with the recycling cart three feet from the trash can as well. Overloaded carts or carts blocked by cars are not serviced, and the town lists the common red tag causes as a cart too close to a fixed object, a lid not fully closed, a cart out of reach, hazardous waste and a bulk item left out that was too large for the cart.

The limit is six cubic yards per pickup, everything goes in the grassy area between the sidewalk and the kerb in front of the home even when the regular carts are collected from the alley, and the crew removes it by 7 p.m. on the collection day.
