Treadmill, walking pad or commercial model?
Household treadmill includes folding home models with a tall console. Choose Walking pad for a compact under-desk model, or Commercial treadmill for a large gym machine. All equipment opens those choices.
An exercise bike, elliptical or rower
Spin, upright, recumbent and air bikes all use Exercise bike, including Peloton and other brands. One elliptical includes its connected base, handles and pedals. Rowing machines and Pilates reformers have their own choices.
Weights, racks and benches
Add together the pounds of loose dumbbells, kettlebells, plates and barbells. Free weights are priced in 10 lb units, rounding the combined weight up. For example, 25 lb uses three units. Add a stand, rack or bench separately if it is going too.

City cost & eligibility
Exercise equipment appears on none of the town's accepted lists and no fee is published, so confirm with the hauler at 972.392.9300 option 2 whether the machine fits the six cubic yard bulk allowance, and confirm whether the Courtesy Drop Site will take it.
When & how
Call the hauler at 972.392.9300 option 2, or the Public Works Department at 972-377-5556, before the machine goes out, then use the bulk week or the Courtesy Drop Site only if the item is confirmed as accepted.
Get it ready
Strip the console and any loose weights so the frame is as light as possible, fold the deck where the manufacturer allows it, and keep the machine out of the carts and clear of the kerb strip until the route is confirmed.
Weekly carts go out by seven and stay clear of obstacles
Trash and recycling are each collected once a week by Community Waste Disposal. Trash has to be bagged, both carts go to the kerb by 7 a.m. and are emptied between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. on the service day, lids have to be closed, and carts must sit at least three feet from obstacles such as mailboxes, cars, fences, gas meters and drainage ditches, with the recycling cart three feet from the trash can as well. Overloaded carts or carts blocked by cars are not serviced, and the town lists the common red tag causes as a cart too close to a fixed object, a lid not fully closed, a cart out of reach, hazardous waste and a bulk item left out that was too large for the cart.
Bulk trash is collected on the household's regularly scheduled trash and recycling day during its bulk week, and every address is on either a first and third week or a second and fourth week schedule. The limit is six cubic yards per pickup, everything goes in the grassy area between the sidewalk and the kerb in front of the home even when the regular carts are collected from the alley, and the crew removes it by 7 p.m. on the collection day. There is no need to schedule a pickup: the pile simply has to be out by 7 a.m. on the right day, and the town warns that items left at the kerb in the wrong week can attract a red tag.
Use a permitted, accessible outdoor spot. Arrange the move out of your home, keep shared access clear and follow your confirmation’s readiness instructions. Check with your building about access or staging limits before booking.

Choose Exercise bike for one stationary bike, including spin, upright, recumbent and air bikes. Peloton and other brands use the same stationary-bike choice. A treadmill, walking pad and outdoor bicycle are different items, so select their matching options.
