Treadmill, walking pad or commercial model?
Household treadmill includes folding home models with a tall console. Choose Walking pad for a compact under-desk model, or Commercial treadmill for a large gym machine. All equipment opens those choices.
An exercise bike, elliptical or rower
Spin, upright, recumbent and air bikes all use Exercise bike, including Peloton and other brands. One elliptical includes its connected base, handles and pedals. Rowing machines and Pilates reformers have their own choices.
Weights, racks and benches
Add together the pounds of loose dumbbells, kettlebells, plates and barbells. Free weights are priced in 10 lb units, rounding the combined weight up. For example, 25 lb uses three units. Add a stand, rack or bench separately if it is going too.

City cost & eligibility
No charge. Included in the 12 bulky item collections a year for residents inside the city limits with a water account in good standing, subject to the volume limit and the excessive quantity fee.
When & how
Request the bulky collection before noon on the business day before the collection day and put the machine out on the appointment day.
Get it ready
Take the machine down as far as it comes apart, keep the loose weights and parts with it so the load stays inside the three and a half foot by three foot by nine foot volume, and keep it out of the carts.
Trash, recycling and yard waste go out on the same weekly collection day. Carts go to the curb by 7 a.m. and may be set out from 6 p.m. the day before, at least three feet from the other containers and from bulky material, mailboxes, vehicles, meters, poles and fences, with the serial number facing the street and the handle toward the house. Recycling stays loose and clean with the lid closed and cardboard broken down, and an overloaded cart is not collected.
Bulky items are collected by appointment only, with the request submitted before noon on the business day before the collection day, and the household can book up to twelve collections a year inside the city limits. The load fits inside three and a half feet tall by three feet deep by nine feet long or is limited to two large household pieces, extra trash bags are not part of the service, and a cooling appliance needs proof of freon evacuation before the collection date.

Construction, remodeling and demolition debris, treated wood, fence panels, pallets, tires, automotive parts, trash bags, bagged yard waste, ammunition, dead animals and hazardous waste are all restricted, and a load larger than the published volume or beyond two large pieces can be charged or refused.
