When & how
Electronics can be requested for a Wednesday pickup through HHW Solutions, with the request placed by Monday night, or put out with the bulk pile where an older city list names televisions with furniture.
Get it ready
Wipe personal data from computers and drives before handover, keep electronics out of both carts, and separate removable batteries so they can be handled as hazardous material. Confirm the device with Utility Billing or HHW Solutions before it goes out.
Brush and bulk are collected Monday through Friday of the household's bulk week, twice a month, and everything has to be at the front curb by 7 a.m. on the Monday, even at a home with an alley. The pile cannot exceed six cubic yards, which is nine feet long, six feet high and three feet wide, and anything larger has to be scheduled as a special pickup on 972-422-2341.

Brush, tree trimmings, leaves and grass clippings, plus bulk such as stoves, water tanks, washing machines and furniture including rugs, carpet and televisions on the city's bulk list, and a refrigerator or freezer that a certified technician has already discharged and tagged.
The pile may not exceed six cubic yards and is collected Monday through Friday of the assigned week only. It must be at the front curb even for alley homes, out by 7 a.m. on the Monday, and clear of trees, wires, the street and the water meter. Hazardous waste, construction material, tires, rock, excavation dirt, scrap building material, railroad ties, fence posts with concrete and remodeling debris are refused.
