The local disposal guide
Rockwall contracts its collection to Republic Services and bills it on the water bill. Garbage and recycling run one day a week in city-provided carts that have to be bagged, closed and three feet clear of anything else, while brush and bulk come off the front curb once in each twice-monthly bulk week with a six cubic yard limit. Furniture, stoves, water tanks and washing machines are on the bulk list, a refrigerator or freezer only goes out once a certified technician has removed the Freon and tagged it, and household chemicals and many electronics are collected from the front porch by appointment through the city's hazardous waste partner.
