City cost & eligibility
A mattress or box spring is not named among the acceptable or prohibited bulky items, so CWD confirms whether the item is eligible and what, if anything, it costs when you call.
When & how
Bulky waste goes out only on the second trash day by 7 a.m., and a mattress is only collected after CWD confirms it for that address.

Call CWD Customer Service at 972.392.9300 option 2 and describe the mattress or box spring before setting it out, keep it dry, and never leave it beside the containers without a confirmed bulky pickup.
Use a permitted, accessible outdoor spot. Arrange the move out of your home, keep shared access clear and follow your confirmation’s readiness instructions. Check with your building about access or staging limits before booking.
A Trophy Club household can self haul extra trash and bulk to the CWD Transfer Station at 2010 California Crossing Road in Dallas, where CWD states that items are dropped off free of charge Wednesday to Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. excluding holidays, and a copy of the current water bill is required at the gate. The same bulky waste rules apply there as at the curb, so a single item over 150 pounds, commercial construction and remodeling debris, hazardous waste, tires, batteries, propane tanks, loose brush, loose debris and extra trash bags are still refused, and household debris has to sit inside a disposable container no larger than two feet by two feet by four feet and no more than 50 pounds. Keeping the material curbside is the other route: bulky waste and bundled brush ride the second trash day, four cubic yards are free, and a larger pile should be priced with CWD Customer Service at 972.392.9300 option 2 first because a tagged pile above the free allowance is billed at the published per cubic yard rate. Yard waste outside the six week leaf season goes in paper yard waste bags with bulky waste, up to four cubic yards or about 12 bags, and recyclables have to be loose in an authorized CWD 18 gallon bin or 95 gallon polycart. The price depends on the mattress size you choose. A queen mattress is $99 as the first item and $30 as an additional item. Loading, transportation and disposal are included. Add any box spring or frame separately, then review your total and any applicable tax before payment.
Can I book same-day mattress pickup in Trophy Club?+
Book by 2pm at your pickup address for same-day pickup. Choose from the dates shown at checkout. Have the mattress outside and accessible according to your confirmation. Your booking is for a day rather than an exact arrival time, and we text you when your hauler is on the way.
Is my box spring or bed frame included in mattress removal?+
The mattress price covers the mattress only. Add your box spring, bed frame or adjustable base separately if those are going too. Choose the size and type that match each item. The combined price appears before booking.
Will you carry my mattress downstairs or out of my apartment?+
Dropcurb starts outside. You arrange to move the mattress out of your apartment and down interior stairs before pickup. We load it and take it away from an accessible outdoor spot. Check your building’s access rules before arranging the move outside.
Can you pick up my old mattress when my new one arrives?+
You can choose an offered pickup day around your replacement delivery. First check whether the retailer already includes old-mattress removal, and arrange who will bring it outside if needed. Dropcurb books a pickup day, not the retailer’s delivery window. Contact us before booking if access is limited to a short time.
