$140 for for a calendar year residential annual pass that covers a single assigned vehicle at the Belman Road Convenience Center and the Regional Landfill. A ten trip coupon book is sold at a lower published price, a single landfill visit carries its own published fee, and recycling of the listed items at Belman Road is free once the vehicle carries a coupon or pass. Oversized loads are not covered by the pass.
When & how
Take the appliance to the Belman Road Convenience Center, which is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and weekends from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., or to the Regional Landfill, which also takes cash and cards.
Get it ready
Empty the unit and keep any doors secured or removed, then let the attendant route it: washers, dryers, dishwashers, stoves and stainless steel appliances go to scrap metal, while air conditioners, refrigerators and freezers go to the area labelled for Freon. Appliances are not acceptable in the curbside trash.
Bulk items only leave through the paid Special Pick Up, and the appointment must be made and the fee paid before anything is placed at the curb. Putting material out without an arrangement violates the city solid waste and litter control sections and can mean cleanup charges plus a misdemeanor punishable by fines and jail time.
Loose or unbagged trash, hazardous waste such as paints and insecticides, appliances, furniture, mattresses and other bulk items, brush, stumps and logs, building materials such as lumber, metal, blocks, concrete, gravel, soil and drywall, ammunition, and plate glass or syringes outside a protective container are all refused.
The Belman Road Convenience Center only accepts coupons or an annual pass, takes no cash, cards or cheques, and turns away commercial vehicles, moving vans, cargo vehicles, trailers longer than eight feet, box springs and mattresses. Recycling of the listed items is free once the vehicle carries a coupon or pass, and a household that needs to pay by cash or card has to use the Regional Landfill.

Cost & conditions
From $75 for minimum curbside fee per load or any portion of a load, with the City reserving the right to limit what it collects. Limited to addresses inside the city limits, with the appointment made and the fee paid before the items go out. A trash subscription is not required for this service.
