Match your item

Construction cleanup starts with the right items.

We currently accept the doors, toilets and bathroom vanities listed here, already detached and ready outside. Choose each item separately. Mixed drywall, tile, concrete, lumber and demolition rubble are not accepted, including in bags.

Doors

Count each detached door panel separately. Have it removed from its hinges before pickup. A whole installed doorway or garage door is not the same item.

Toilets

Choose Toilet for an ordinary household toilet that has already been disconnected, drained and moved outside. Text a photo before booking if yours is broken or has loose sharp pieces.

Bathroom vanities

Choose the small, standard or large bathroom vanity that matches your sink cabinet. A makeup table has a separate choice. Plumbing disconnection and removal from the wall happen before pickup.

Taking it somewhere yourself?

Williamsburg keeps most household material in its own curbside programme: a garbage cart on Monday or Tuesday, a blue recycling cart every other week, ten bags or bundles of yard debris on the collection day, and a household bulk appointment for two large items, three times a year. Self haul covers the rest. Capital loads go to the James City County convenience center at 1204 Jolly Pond Road, open every day from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., where city residents pay with coupons bought at the Treasurer's Office or by card on site. Anti-freeze, motor oil, cooking oil and rechargeable batteries go to the Tewning Road center at 117 Tewning Road, open Tuesday to Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Paint, cleaning solutions and computer equipment go to the household chemical and computer recycling events, and dry latex paint can simply go in the garbage cart. Can I get same-day toilet or vanity pickup in Williamsburg?

Book by 2pm at your pickup address for same-day pickup, where available. Checkout shows the dates you can choose. Arrange disconnection, removal and the move outside first, then have the fixture ready by the time in your confirmation. We text you before arrival and provide pickup photos when it is done.

The fixture must already be detached, disconnected and accessible outside at ground level. Arrange plumbing, electrical work, removal from walls or hinges, and indoor carrying before pickup. Dropcurb handles loading and haul-away from your outdoor pickup spot.

Can I add bags of drywall, tile or other demolition waste?

Mixed drywall, tile, concrete, lumber and demolition rubble are not accepted. This page offers pickup for the listed doors, toilets and bathroom vanities that are already removed.
