Match your item

Construction cleanup starts with the right items.

We currently accept the doors, toilets and bathroom vanities listed here, already detached and ready outside. Choose each item separately. Mixed drywall, tile, concrete, lumber and demolition rubble are not accepted, including in bags.

Doors

Count each detached door panel separately. Have it removed from its hinges before pickup. A whole installed doorway or garage door is not the same item.

Toilets

Choose Toilet for an ordinary household toilet that has already been disconnected, drained and moved outside. Text a photo before booking if yours is broken or has loose sharp pieces.

Bathroom vanities

Choose the small, standard or large bathroom vanity that matches your sink cabinet. A makeup table has a separate choice. Plumbing disconnection and removal from the wall happen before pickup.

Renovation and construction debris

Special rules apply

Renovation debris is charged by weight rather than by the pickup. Snohomish County bills self hauled loads at the transfer station by the ton with a minimum for the first 360 pounds, and concrete, brick, asphalt and dirt are accepted there as garbage only. Rubatino rents 20 and 35 cubic yard drop boxes for a remodel or a re-roof, and Waste Management offers temporary containers for the same work in its service area.

City cost & eligibility
From $30 for for a self hauled garbage load of up to 360 pounds at a Snohomish County transfer station, with heavier loads charged by weight. Self hauled loads from households and contractors, paid at the scale house by card, cash or check; a drop box or a temporary container from the hauler is quoted separately.
When & how
Bring the load during station hours, arrive at least 30 minutes before the 4:30 p.m. close, and unload it yourself, or order a drop box or a temporary container when the volume is too large for one trip.
Get it ready
Cover and secure the load with a tarp or netting and straps, because an uncovered load is charged more at the scale house. Keep yard and clean wood debris separate, since the county no longer accepts it at any facility, and keep paint, solvents, electronics and appliances out of the pile.

Start with the hauler that serves the address

The city of Everett does not run garbage, recycling or yard waste collection, so the route depends on the address. Rubatino Refuse Removal serves most of the city limits, including zip codes 98201, 98203, 98204 and part of 98208, on 425-259-0044. Waste Management serves south Everett, described as south of 112th Street SE, Eastmont and Silver Lake including the 75th Street overpass, on 1-800-592-9995. Snohomish County Solid Waste answers the rest on 425-388-3425.

What a self hauled load needs

Airport Road Recycling and Transfer Station at 10700 Minuteman Drive is inside Everett and opens seven days a week from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed on New Year's Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. Arrive at least 30 minutes before closing, unload your own vehicle, take brooms and shovels with you, and expect the load to be weighed. The recycling area is for residential customers only and it refuses yard and clean wood debris, which the county has not accepted at any facility since 2022.

Items that cannot ride in the load

Dangerous and moderate risk waste is refused at every county facility, and so are electronics, refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners, dehumidifiers, heat pumps, liquid waste, asbestos and tires beyond five per customer per day in passenger car and pickup truck sizes. Household hazardous waste such as paint, solvents, gasoline, propane tanks in barbecue size, batteries and motor oil belongs at 3434 McDougall Avenue, which is free for households and open Wednesday to Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Rubatino Refuse Removal and Waste Management Northwest under the two service areas the city names, with Snohomish County Solid Waste operating the Airport Road transfer station and the household hazardous waste station

Rubatino drop box and roll off service

Large volumes from a remodel, a re-roof, a demolition or a whole home cleanout.

Cost & conditions
Rubatino publishes the 20 and 35 cubic yard container options but quotes the price, so ask for the rate and the rental period before ordering.
Arrange it
Call 425-259-0044 or request a roll off quote for a 20 or 35 cubic yard container on a daily, temporary or long term basis.

The container is a paid third party service from the hauler that serves most Everett addresses, and restricted material such as paint, appliances, electronics and yard debris has to stay out of it.

Waste Management temporary containers

Remodelling and construction projects at a south Everett address.

Cost & conditions
Waste Management lists large temporary containers without a published price, so the rate is quoted when the service is requested.
Arrange it
Call 800-592-9995 during its weekday service hours from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and describe the project and the volume.

The container belongs to the hauler rather than the city, is quoted per container, and the same hauler books a sofa or a console television as a bulky item instead of a container.

Taking it somewhere yourself?

Self haul in Everett means the Snohomish County station on Minuteman Drive, which sits inside the city and takes garbage for disposal plus separated recyclables from residents. A load of 360 pounds or less is charged the flat minimum including tax and anything heavier is charged by weight at the scale house, paid by card, cash or check, and an uncovered load is charged more. The station is open every day from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and closes on four holidays, and customers unload their own vehicles and bring their own brooms. Several streams leave this route entirely: electronics go free through E-Cycle Washington, refrigerant appliances go to the dealers the county names, yard and clean wood debris goes to a composting or clean wood site, and dangerous or moderate risk waste goes to the household hazardous waste station at 3434 McDougall Avenue, which is free for households and open Wednesday to Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Southwest station in Mountlake Terrace is the nearer option for the south Everett addresses Waste Management serves. Before you book

A few things
worth knowing.

Construction debris removal, from choosing your item to pickup day in Everett.

How much does construction debris removal cost in Everett?

Pricing is per accepted item. A detached door is $99 as a single item, an ordinary toilet is $79, and a small bathroom vanity is $99. Larger vanities have their own choices. Select the listed items to see the exact combined price. These prices do not cover mixed rubble or loose building materials. Loading, transportation and disposal are included; applicable sales tax appears before payment.

Can I get same-day toilet or vanity pickup in Everett?

Book by 2pm at your pickup address for same-day pickup, where available. Checkout shows the dates you can choose. Arrange disconnection, removal and the move outside first, then have the fixture ready by the time in your confirmation. We text you before arrival and provide pickup photos when it is done.

Will you disconnect a sink or take a door off its hinges?

The fixture must already be detached, disconnected and accessible outside at ground level. Arrange plumbing, electrical work, removal from walls or hinges, and indoor carrying before pickup. Dropcurb handles loading and haul-away from your outdoor pickup spot.

Can I add bags of drywall, tile or other demolition waste?

Mixed drywall, tile, concrete, lumber and demolition rubble are not accepted. This page offers pickup for the listed doors, toilets and bathroom vanities that are already removed. Do not book loose building materials as household trash bags or as an extra item. Arrange suitable disposal for those materials with your contractor or a debris specialist.

Can a door, toilet and vanity go in the same pickup?

Yes. Add each listed fixture separately and choose the correct vanity size. Each detached door panel counts as one item. The combined price appears before you book. Keep the fixtures together outside, separate from anything staying, and add a location photo on your order page.

How is construction debris charged in Everett?

Snohomish County charges self hauled debris by weight at its transfer stations, with a minimum charge for the first 360 pounds and a per ton rate above that, and concrete, brick, asphalt and dirt are accepted as garbage only.
