Televisions, computers and monitors ride the state E-Cycle Washington programme at no charge, the Recology Store takes e-waste, and small electronics that fit the size and weight limits are collected at the curb without a fee.
Building material never goes out with a bulky collection. King County accepts construction and demolition debris at its transfer stations for the standard garbage rate with restrictions on how it arrives, and Recology rents debris boxes for remodeling, demolition and land clearing work.
