The King County Factoria Recycling and Transfer Station at 13800 SE 32nd Street in Bellevue sits about five miles west of Issaquah and serves the area directly. Garbage, commingled recycling, mattresses, futons and box springs for recycling, major appliances including refrigerant units, tires in the tire bins with a limit of four per customer, clean untreated wood, yard waste, scrap metal, textiles, bicycles and household hazardous waste.

Customers must live or do business inside the King County service area, which excludes Seattle and Milton. Televisions, computers, monitors and laptops are not accepted, major appliances are recycled rather than buried, clean wood is not accepted for disposal from self haulers, and tires are refused from businesses and limited to four passenger car tires per customer with no large truck tires. Construction and demolition material is refused from hydraulic or mechanised dump bed and dump trailer vehicles unless it makes up under 20 percent of the load and must contain no asbestos, hazardous waste, burning, dusty, odorous or over length material. Concrete blocks, safes, wood stoves, stumps and other items over two feet by two feet by two feet and heavier than two hundred pounds need approval through Waste Clearance, and more than six mattresses per customer in a day does too.
