Construction cleanup starts with the right items.

We currently accept the doors, toilets and bathroom vanities listed here, already detached and ready outside. Choose each item separately. Mixed drywall, tile, concrete, lumber and demolition rubble are not accepted, including in bags.

Doors

Count each detached door panel separately. Have it removed from its hinges before pickup. A whole installed doorway or garage door is not the same item.

Toilets

Choose Toilet for an ordinary household toilet that has already been disconnected, drained and moved outside. Text a photo before booking if yours is broken or has loose sharp pieces.

Bathroom vanities

Choose the small, standard or large bathroom vanity that matches your sink cabinet. A makeup table has a separate choice. Plumbing disconnection and removal from the wall happen before pickup.

Remodeling, construction and demolition debris

Special rules apply

Building material never goes out with a bulky collection. King County accepts construction and demolition debris at its transfer stations for the standard garbage rate with restrictions on how it arrives, and Recology rents debris boxes for remodeling, demolition and land clearing work.

City cost & eligibility
From $40.25 per minimum transfer station load of up to 320 pounds, with heavier loads charged by the ton and debris box container rates quoted separately. Accepted for disposal at King County transfer stations including Factoria, but not from vehicles with hydraulic or mechanised dump beds or dump trailers unless construction and demolition material makes up less than 20 percent of the load. Recology King County rents open debris boxes in 10, 20, 30 and 40 cubic yard sizes. Confirm the container size and rate with Recology on 425.837.1234 before a project starts.
When & how
There is no collection day for building material. Either take the load to a King County transfer station or order a debris box before the work produces waste, and separate heavy material such as dirt, concrete and brick from the rest.
Get it ready
Keep the load free of asbestos waste, hazardous waste, burning or smouldering material, liquids and dusty or odorous material, and keep single items inside the county's bulk limits. Clean untreated wood, yard waste and clean materials are charged at recycling rates rather than the garbage rate, so separating them lowers the bill. A debris box holds a maximum of fourteen thousand pounds and an overweight container is off loaded at the customer's expense.

Recology King County under contract with the City of Issaquah, with King County for the transfer stations, mattress recycling and household hazardous waste, and E-Cycle Washington for electronics

Self haul to the Factoria transfer station

An Issaquah household with a load too large for a collection, or with mattresses, refrigerant appliances, tires, clean wood, yard waste, textiles or household hazardous waste.

Cost & conditions
From $30 per item to recycle a mattress, futon, box spring or refrigerant appliance, with garbage loads charged a minimum up to 320 pounds and by the ton above that. Customers who live or do business inside the King County service area, which includes Issaquah and excludes Seattle and Milton. Household hazardous waste is free for King County residents, and the CleanUp LIFT discount takes twenty dollars off each type of waste on each visit for customers with a ProviderOne, EBT or ORCA LIFT card.
Arrange it
Drive the load to 13800 SE 32nd Street in Bellevue and sort it before arriving: mattresses and refrigerant appliances as their own items, clean wood and yard waste separated for recycling, and hazardous waste to the collection area rather than the tipping floor.

Televisions, computers, monitors and laptops are not accepted. Major appliances are not accepted for disposal, only for recycling. Tires are limited to four per customer and large truck tires are refused. Construction and demolition material is not accepted from hydraulic dump bed or dump trailer vehicles unless it makes up under 20 percent of the load, and more than six mattresses per customer in a day needs county approval.

Open the King County Factoria transfer station page

Recology King County under contract with the City of Issaquah, with King County for the transfer stations, mattress recycling and household hazardous waste, and E-Cycle Washington for electronics

Order a debris box for a project load

An Issaquah household or contractor with remodeling, demolition or land clearing debris that is too much for a transfer station trip.

Cost & conditions
Recology advertises low cost debris box service without publishing a container rate, so call 425.837.1234 and confirm the box size, the delivery charge and the rate for the material before ordering.
Arrange it
Order an open debris box in a 10, 20, 30 or 40 cubic yard size, keep the lid closed against rain, and note that the truck needs 34 feet of access plus the length of the box and 16 feet of clear overhead space.

A box holds no more than fourteen thousand pounds and an overweight container is off loaded at the customer's expense, so dirt, concrete and brick should be collected separately from lighter debris.

Before you book

A few things
worth knowing.

Construction debris removal, from choosing your item to pickup day in Issaquah.

How much does construction debris removal cost in Issaquah?

Pricing is per accepted item. A detached door is $99 as a single item, an ordinary toilet is $79, and a small bathroom vanity is $99. Larger vanities have their own choices. Select the listed items to see the exact combined price. These prices do not cover mixed rubble or loose building materials. Loading, transportation and disposal are included; applicable sales tax appears before payment.

Can I get same-day toilet or vanity pickup in Issaquah?

Book by 2pm at your pickup address for same-day pickup, where available. Checkout shows the dates you can choose. Arrange disconnection, removal and the move outside first, then have the fixture ready by the time in your confirmation. We text you before arrival and provide pickup photos when it is done.

Will you disconnect a sink or take a door off its hinges?

The fixture must already be detached, disconnected and accessible outside at ground level. Arrange plumbing, electrical work, removal from walls or hinges, and indoor carrying before pickup. Dropcurb handles loading and haul-away from your outdoor pickup spot.

Can I add bags of drywall, tile or other demolition waste?

Mixed drywall, tile, concrete, lumber and demolition rubble are not accepted. This page offers pickup for the listed doors, toilets and bathroom vanities that are already removed. Do not book loose building materials as household trash bags or as an extra item. Arrange suitable disposal for those materials with your contractor or a debris specialist.

Can a door, toilet and vanity go in the same pickup?

Yes. Add each listed fixture separately and choose the correct vanity size. Each detached door panel counts as one item. The combined price appears before you book. Keep the fixtures together outside, separate from anything staying, and add a location photo on your order page.

How do I get rid of remodeling debris in Issaquah?

Either rent a debris box or haul to a King County transfer station. Recology King County offers open debris boxes in 10, 20, 30 and 40 cubic yard sizes for remodeling, demolition and land clearing, ordered on 425.837.1234, with a fourteen thousand pound maximum weight and heavy material such as dirt, concrete and brick collected separately. The county transfer stations take construction and demolition material at the garbage rate, refuse it from hydraulic dump bed and dump trailer vehicles unless it is under 20 percent of the load, and ban asbestos, hazardous waste and burning material.Official guidance

Where do paint, chemicals and other hazardous waste go in Issaquah?

To the King County hazardous waste collection site at the Factoria transfer station, free for King County residents. Accepted material includes batteries, thermostats and thermometers, oil based paints, thinners, solvents, motor oil, propane and butane tanks, cleaners, lawn and garden products, glues, automotive products, antifreeze, flammable liquids and marine and road flares. Household hazardous waste is refused in the garbage and at the county transfer station tipping floor, and the collection area opens Tuesday to Sunday.Official guidance
