E-Cycle sites are a separate network from Call-2-Haul, and televisions, computers and monitors are refused on Call-2-Haul, so the device has to go to a collection site instead.
Tacoma households that move their own loads use the Tacoma Recovery & Transfer Center at 3510 S. Mullen Street, where the transfer center and recycle center are open seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Bring proof of Tacoma residency to qualify for the residential disposal rate, unload at the scale, and pay by cash, credit card or check. The disposal charge depends on the weight of the load, and a load needing special handling carries an extra fee. The same site holds the household hazardous waste facility, which is free for Tacoma residents and open Friday through Monday, and the recycle center. Can you pick up old electronics today in Tacoma?+

Do you erase data from old computers?+
Data erasure and certified data destruction are not included in Dropcurb removal. Back up the information you need, then follow the manufacturer’s sign-out and reset instructions before pickup. If a device cannot be erased or contains sensitive business information, arrange suitable data handling before giving it away.
