Two carts, one weekly schedule, and a strict placement rule
Refuse and recycling carts are serviced weekly, and both go to the curb by 6 a.m. with the wheels facing the house the night before the collection day. Keep the carts at least three feet from parked cars, mailboxes and other obstacles, and bring them in after collection. A service day that falls on or after an annual holiday might be delayed by one day, which is confirmed at wm.com.
Bulk pickup runs on the last Thursday of the month
A residence can schedule up to six bulk pickups a year with no additional fee, and each collection is limited to three items. The pickups happen on the last Thursday of each month, except in November, when the collection moves to the Thursday before Thanksgiving, and the pickup is booked online through a My WM account. Extra items, or more than six pickups in a year, can be arranged for a fee.
