When & how
Call Customer Service to book the appliance pickup, then set the unit out for the scheduled day rather than adding it to the bulk pile, because the bulk crew will not take an appliance without an appointment.
Get it ready
Empty the unit, secure or remove the doors, and drain or empty a water heater before the pickup. Keep the appliance out of the ordinary garbage can, and remember that batteries and hazardous materials are refused on this route as well.

Can I book if the delivery company did not take my old appliance?+
Yes. Dropcurb pickup is separate from buying or installing a replacement, so you can book removal on its own.
