Book the unwanted bags and boxes left after packing. Choose an available pickup day before you hand back the keys, and arrange to have them outside.
You do not need a whole house of junk. Select the bags, boxes and larger items you actually have. Your combined price is shown online.

A few simple choices turn a mixed pile into a clear booking. No need to estimate how much of a truck it might fill.
Count each trash bag or filled household box. Books and media go by the box. Clothes, bedding and shoes go by the filled bag. Toys packed together have a Box of toys choice. Ask us about unusually heavy or oversized bags and boxes first.
Empty cardboard is a different choice: choose single empty boxes or tied bundles of 10 flattened boxes. Compacted bales have their own weight-based choices and require loading-dock access. A Storage bin choice covers the empty bin itself; ask us to confirm the contents if they are going too.
Add the actual larger item alongside your bags and boxes, such as a sofa, chair or mattress. It has its own price and preparation. Keep construction materials and items needing special handling out of ordinary household bags.

Furniture and other bulky waste is collected on a scheduled special pickup, with four free pickups a year at 64 cubic feet each, or up to twenty items a year scheduled five at a time.
Appliances, including refrigerators, ranges, washers, dryers, water heaters and dishwashers, are named in the city code as bulky waste and go out on a scheduled special pickup.
Electronic waste is collected free by laying it on top of the recycling cart, or beside the cart when it is too large, and it also counts within the bulky allowance.
Only small pieces of wood fit in the brown cart and scrap wood within the bulky definition, so larger construction and demolition material needs its own arrangement.
Exercise equipment is not named in the cart rules or the bulky definition, and any item two workers cannot handle is refused, so the machine is confirmed with the hauler first.

Ordinance No. 2255 makes willfully depositing bulky waste on a street, sidewalk or public right-of-way a misdemeanor, and the flyer describes a red tag for a first unpermitted disposal and a green tag with a charge for a second.
