The TV’s type and size determine which item to choose. A new model and an old model can use the same option if their shape and screen size match.
Flat-screen TVs
Measure the screen diagonally, corner to corner, without the frame. Choose under 42 inches or 42 inches and larger. A TV measuring exactly 42 inches belongs to the larger option.
Tube TVs
An older tube or CRT television has curved glass and a deep, heavy body. Choose Tube TV even if its screen is small. A rear-projection TV is different; send a photo before booking so we can check the fit.
TV stands and other electronics
The TV price covers the television. Add a media console, computer monitor or other item separately if it is going too. Choose only what you want removed and review the combined price.

Keep the screen out of all three carts and out of a multiple item bulky pile, because the operator's allowance is one television or computer monitor per pickup. Protect the screen so it does not break in the vehicle or at the curb, and remove cables, stands and loose batteries.

The city lists the carpet drop-off at this facility as Wednesday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., so check the hours for the material being dropped off. Household hazardous waste such as paint, cleaners and pesticides is not part of this route and goes to the regional facility.
