City cost & eligibility
No charge. Included in the four bulky item collections a year for a single family household at up to four items per pickup, with no additional cost. A refrigerator or another appliance holding Freon is a separate collection the hauler describes as charged, and a multifamily collection carries a fee.

Hazardous waste, batteries and electronics stay out of the carts
Household hazardous waste is illegal in any CR&R container, and that includes batteries of all types and sizes. Electronic waste is anything with a circuit board or a battery and is also illegal in the carts, construction material is not a bulky item, and a refrigerator or another Freon unit needs its own charged collection.
Use a permitted, accessible outdoor spot. Arrange the move out of your home, keep shared access clear and follow your confirmation’s readiness instructions. Check with your building about access or staging limits before booking.
