Book the bulky pickup 48 hours ahead with the exact item list
Contact customer service at (831) 768-3133 at least 48 hours before the collection, list the three bulky items, and put only those items at the curb by 7 a.m. on the collection day. Empty drawers, washers and dryers and tape the doors shut, keep each item within 4 feet wide by 5 feet long by 4 feet tall and under 100 pounds, and leave 3 feet of clearance from the carts, parked cars and mailboxes, because blocked material is not collected. The service runs Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. and the account has to be current.
Carts go out the night before and bulky items never go in a cart
Cart wheels should touch the curb with the handles facing the house, carts need three feet of clearance on all sides from signs, poles and cars, and they go out the night before because collection starts at 4:30 a.m. Garbage and recyclables are collected weekly and recycling runs every other week from the free 95 gallon blue cart.
