Treadmill, walking pad or commercial model?
Household treadmill includes folding home models with a tall console. Choose Walking pad for a compact under-desk model, or Commercial treadmill for a large gym machine. All equipment opens those choices.
An exercise bike, elliptical or rower
Spin, upright, recumbent and air bikes all use Exercise bike, including Peloton and other brands. One elliptical includes its connected base, handles and pedals. Rowing machines and Pilates reformers have their own choices.
Weights, racks and benches
Add together the pounds of loose dumbbells, kettlebells, plates and barbells. Free weights are priced in 10 lb units, rounding the combined weight up. For example, 25 lb uses three units. Add a stand, rack or bench separately if it is going too.

Exercise equipment is not named on the county transfer site list, which covers appliances, furniture and household items, so a treadmill or weight machine has to be confirmed before it is loaded.
City cost & eligibility
The county publishes no exercise equipment entry and the town provides no collection, so confirm with the transfer site at 303-720-3129 or with the household's hauler. A machine that is accepted at the site would be priced like other household material by the container, the load or the yard.

Get it ready
Break the machine down so it can be handled by one or two people, take off any console or motor unit so it can be handled separately, and keep it out of any recycling stream.
The town states that it does not provide trash removal or recycling services. A neighborhood with a homeowners association may arrange collection through the HOA, and an address without one has to obtain individual service, with HBS Trash and Waste Management named as providers that serve the area. Nothing sits at the curb waiting for a town crew, so the route has to be arranged before the material goes out.
