Count each detached door panel separately. Have it removed from its hinges before pickup. A whole installed doorway or garage door is not the same item.

Choose Toilet for an ordinary household toilet that has already been disconnected, drained and moved outside. Text a photo before booking if yours is broken or has loose sharp pieces.

The Front Range Landfill accepts construction debris, concrete and asphalt, and wood, concrete, drywall, siding and dirt at published tonnage rates, and Resource Central takes reusable building material on a weekly Erie pickup.
City cost & eligibility
From $196 for minimum charge for a load of wood, concrete, drywall, siding or dirt weighed at 98 dollars per ton at the Front Range Landfill. Open to the public at the Front Range Landfill, where every vehicle weighs in and out and a separate 196 dollar minimum applies on the same tonnage rate to household and municipal waste. Uncovered or unsecured loads are charged double.
When & how
Take renovation debris to the Front Range Landfill on Weld County Road 5, open Monday to Friday from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m., or offer reusable building and construction material to Resource Central, which runs a weekly pickup in Erie and asks for a picture and description first.
Get it ready
Keep concrete, drywall, siding, roofing and framing out of the carts and out of the town Recycling Center, tarp and secure every load or it is charged double, and separate reusable material from rubble before the trip. Ask the landfill office about roofing shingles and mixed loads, and confirm unit pricing for anything unusual.
Landfill loads are tarped, weighed and priced by vehicle
The Front Range Landfill inside Erie is open Monday to Friday from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m., closed Sundays and on some holidays. All vehicles weigh in and out on certified scales, and the landfill prices a car load, a pickup load below the top of the cab, and a pickup load above the cab at different flat rates, with tonnage rates and minimum charges for household waste and for wood, concrete, drywall, siding and dirt. Loads must be covered, tarped and secured or they are charged double, and anyone who gets out of a vehicle needs a reflective safety vest.
Use a permitted, accessible outdoor spot. Arrange the move out of your home, keep shared access clear and follow your confirmation’s readiness instructions. Check with your building about access or staging limits before booking.
Send reusable building material to Resource Central

Cost & conditions
No charge. Erie households with reusable building and construction material, which the town lists among the items collected free of charge, and Resource Central runs a weekly pickup in Erie.
Arrange it
Send a picture and a description of the material to pickup@resourcecentral.org. Once the material is approved, Resource Central coordinates the pickup on a Wednesday, and the town also publishes the intake line 303.419.5418.
The route is for reusable material only, so rubble, concrete, sod and mixed demolition debris still have to go to the Front Range Landfill. Resource Central stopped attending the town clean-up events in 2026 and works by its own pickup arrangement instead.
Clean fill and soil, concrete and asphalt, construction debris, a couch, loveseat or sectional, household municipal waste, a mattress or box spring, a treadmill without its computer, a piano without its computer, lawn mowers and lawn trimmers with their liquids removed, white goods including dishwashers, dryers, furnaces, hot water heaters, stoves and washers, tree branches and yard waste.
Refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners, batteries, electronic waste, hazardous waste, hot ashes, liquids including paint, oil, septage and chemicals, mercury fluorescent bulbs, propane containers, tires and toxic waste are refused, and electronic devices have been banned from Colorado landfill disposal since July 1, 2013. Loads must be covered, tarped and secured or they are charged double, and anyone who exits a vehicle needs a reflective safety vest, sold on site for 8 dollars.
Monday to Friday from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m., closed Sunday, with shortened hours on some holidays and closures for high winds or severe weather. All vehicles weigh in and out on certified scales, and the office answers at 303-673-9431.
From $141 per car load, with a pickup charged 175 dollars when the waste stays below the top of the cab and 236 dollars when it rises above it. Open to the public. Tonnage loads are charged 98 dollars per ton with a 196 dollar minimum for household waste and the same rate for wood, concrete, drywall, siding and dirt, white goods are 80 dollars each, and a couch or a mattress is 74 dollars each.

An item fee applies on top of the facility fee for mattresses and bedding, displays, monitors and televisions, printers and miscellaneous electronics, small plastic appliances, refrigerant appliances and concrete, while computers, mobile phones, tablets and bikes carry no item fee. Mouldy or infested bedding is refused, and the facility is closed on Sundays and can close for extreme weather.
Monday to Saturday from 9 am to 5 pm, closed Sundays, with the facility reachable at (303) 444-6634 to check for weather closures. The facility sits on Recycle Row next to Resource Central, and no appointment is needed.
$3 per vehicle entering the facility as a facility fee, charged before any item fee. Any household, because the facility states that place of residence does not determine whether you can use it or affect fees. The facility fee is waived for customers arriving by bicycle, and item fees for the categories listed above are charged on top.

Can a door, toilet and vanity go in the same pickup?+
Yes. Add each listed fixture separately and choose the correct vanity size. Each detached door panel counts as one item. The combined price appears before you book. Keep the fixtures together outside, separate from anything staying, and add a location photo on your order page.
