Treadmill, walking pad or commercial model?
Household treadmill includes folding home models with a tall console. Choose Walking pad for a compact under-desk model, or Commercial treadmill for a large gym machine. All equipment opens those choices.
An exercise bike, elliptical or rower
Spin, upright, recumbent and air bikes all use Exercise bike, including Peloton and other brands. One elliptical includes its connected base, handles and pedals. Rowing machines and Pilates reformers have their own choices.
Weights, racks and benches
Add together the pounds of loose dumbbells, kettlebells, plates and barbells. Free weights are priced in 10 lb units, rounding the combined weight up. For example, 25 lb uses three units. Add a stand, rack or bench separately if it is going too.

When & how
Take a treadmill to the Front Range Landfill in Erie, open Monday to Friday from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m., and confirm any other machine with the landfill office or the hauler on your account before loading it.
Get it ready
Remove the console or computer before the trip, because the landfill names a treadmill without its computer and electronic parts travel by their own route. Break a machine down only where it can be handled safely, and tarp the load so it is not charged double.

The Front Range Landfill in Erie is open Monday to Friday from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m., closed Sundays and on some holidays. Every vehicle weighs in and out on certified scales, a car load and a pickup load are charged flat rates that rise when the waste sits above the top of the cab, and wood, concrete, drywall, siding and dirt are charged by the ton with a minimum. Loads must be covered, tarped and secured or they are charged double, and anyone who gets out of a vehicle needs a reflective safety vest.
Use a permitted, accessible outdoor spot. Arrange the move out of your home, keep shared access clear and follow your confirmation’s readiness instructions. Check with your building about access or staging limits before booking.

Cost & conditions
Boulder County licenses every hauler working in unincorporated Boulder County and requires volume based pricing, single-stream recycling, composting in some areas and annual reporting, but it publishes no bulky item programme and no rate. Confirm the item, the limit and the charge with the company that collects your carts.

Only some haulers offer bulky collection and the item lists and prices vary between them, so nothing is guaranteed by the county licence. Anything a hauler declines still has to move through the Front Range Landfill in Erie or the hard-to-recycle center in Boulder.
Clean fill and soil, concrete and asphalt, construction debris, a couch, loveseat or sectional, household municipal waste, a mattress or box spring, a treadmill without its computer, a piano without its computer, lawn mowers and lawn trimmers with their liquids removed, white goods including dishwashers, dryers, furnaces, hot water heaters, stoves and washers, tree branches and yard waste.
Refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners, batteries, electronic waste, hazardous waste, hot ashes, liquids including paint, oil, septage and chemicals, mercury fluorescent bulbs, propane containers, tires and toxic waste are refused, and electronic devices have been banned from Colorado landfill disposal since July 1, 2013. Loads must be covered, tarped and secured or they are charged double, and anyone who exits a vehicle needs a reflective safety vest, sold on site for 8 dollars.
