Freon and any door locks come off a refrigeration unit before it is set out, yard waste is cut into four foot lengths and limited to ten bags of 50 pounds or less or four cubic yards, and nothing hazardous, electronic or construction related goes into the trash or recycling carts. A tube television must not be put out with the bulk pile, although a flat screen may be.

Class I garbage and putrescible waste, construction and demolition debris including clean fill, asphalt, broken concrete, wood, nonputrescible waste and furniture, yard waste, and household hazardous waste.
Construction and demolition debris is only accepted at the landfill rather than at the Porter or McLeod Road transfer stations, and yard waste is accepted at those transfer stations only on Saturdays. The landfill and transfer stations are closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas, and the minimum charge at the scale is 9.00.

From $41.1 for the county rate per ton for construction and demolition debris, effective October 1, 2025. Class I garbage is 54.20 per ton at every site, construction and demolition debris is 41.10 per ton and only accepted at the landfill, yard waste is 46.80 per ton at the landfill or 54.20 per ton at the transfer stations on Saturdays, and the minimum charge is 9.00.
