The village publishes no price for a scheduled move-out or a rented dumpster, so confirm the current arrangement and cost before booking.
Arrange it
Call Public Works at 847-933-8427 to schedule a small move-out, or rent a dumpster through the village hauler LRS at 1-844-NEED-LRS. Nothing goes to the curb until the pickup is confirmed.
A scheduled pickup is required once the load is more than one large item or two small pieces, and dumpsters must come from the village hauler.
Material that cannot leave in the carts moves through SWANCC. Electronics go to the drop-off site at 3 Providence Way in Des Plaines on most Saturdays, construction and other landfill waste goes to the SWANCC transfer station for a fee, and household hazardous material such as oil-based paint, chemicals and batteries can be collected from the home through the village's Clean Harbors program.
