Treadmill, walking pad or commercial model?
Household treadmill includes folding home models with a tall console. Choose Walking pad for a compact under-desk model, or Commercial treadmill for a large gym machine. All equipment opens those choices.
An exercise bike, elliptical or rower
Spin, upright, recumbent and air bikes all use Exercise bike, including Peloton and other brands. One elliptical includes its connected base, handles and pedals. Rowing machines and Pilates reformers have their own choices.
Weights, racks and benches
Add together the pounds of loose dumbbells, kettlebells, plates and barbells. Free weights are priced in 10 lb units, rounding the combined weight up. For example, 25 lb uses three units. Add a stand, rack or bench separately if it is going too.

City cost & eligibility
From $12 per metal item at the curb, with metal items free to drop off at the center for permitted residents. Framingham household scheduling the pickup, or a resident with a current drop-off permit; the curbside service fee is added on top.

Remove oil and gas from anything motorized before it goes out, as the city asks for lawnmowers. Take off loose weights and accessories, and keep the machine where the crew can reach it from the street.
Framingham collects bulky items only by appointment and only after payment. Schedule through the city permitting portal or at the Operations Center or drop-off center, pay by cash, check or online, and put the tagged item at the curb by 7 a.m. on the assigned day because staff cannot enter private property.
Soft goods such as couches go out on Tuesday, and metal items, mattresses, televisions, Freon appliances, carpets and tires go out on Wednesday. Setting a category out on the wrong day means the crew will not take it.

Cost & conditions
The disposal fee depends on the item category and a five dollar service fee is added to every curbside pickup, so confirm the total when you book and pay.
Arrange it
Book a curbside pickup online through the city permitting portal or at the Operations Center, then place the tagged item at the curb by 7 a.m. on the assigned day.
Curbside collection is limited to one to four family dwellings and approved condominiums, items must be paid for in advance, and construction and demolition material is never collected.

Which option covers a Peloton, spin bike or recumbent bike?+
Choose Exercise bike for one stationary bike, including spin, upright, recumbent and air bikes. Peloton and other brands use the same stationary-bike choice. A treadmill, walking pad and outdoor bicycle are different items, so select their matching options.
How do I book free weights, a weight rack or a bench?+
