The city's recycling rules say computers, electronics and scrap metal are not picked up at the curb but may be brought to the Recycling Center, and that yard lists computers and electronics on its accept list. So the working route for a television, monitor or computer is the Flanders yard during its published hours, not the weekly truck.

Get it ready
Wipe personal data from computers and phones, keep cables with the device they belong to, and keep electronics out of the recycling bin and off the curb, where they are not collected.
Refuse and compost go to the grass at the curb by 6 a.m. or no earlier than 6 p.m. the evening before the scheduled collection, and until then the carts and bags stay at the side of the house or in the rear yard. The carts have to be three feet apart with the lids closed and nothing protruding from the top, and a compost pile is placed five feet from the rest of the garbage. When a holiday falls in the week, collection runs a day late for the rest of that week.
The yard is for bona fide Warren residents only, with proof of residency such as a driver's licence, and it expects a personal vehicle: commercial type vehicles and panel vans are turned away and contractors are not eligible to use the facility for any material. Yard personnel judge every questionable load, so what is accepted can vary from visit to visit, and there is no assistance to unload, because it is the resident's responsibility to place material into the proper containers.
