Keep the mattress out of the recycling drop-off site, where furniture, carpet and bulky items are illegal and can draw a fine, and keep it out of the yard waste site.
Carts go out by 6 a.m. and the hauler may collect until 10 p.m.
Residents keep carts at or near the back door or the garage and set them at the curb by 6 a.m. on the collection day, and haulers can collect refuse from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Carts may not obstruct pedestrian or vehicle traffic, and businesses have to keep their containers screened from view.
