Couch & furniture removal in BellevueCity collection Furniture is one of the two item families the hauler names for a bulky pickup, and it cannot go in the blue landfill cart. Two bulky pickups a year are free as long as the piece does not exceed the published weight and size limits, and anything larger is collected as a paid large item pickup that has to be scheduled because a different truck handles it. No charge. Two free bulk curbside pickups a year are allowed per household for items not exceeding 60 pounds and about four by two feet, which is what the hauler's Bellevue guide publishes; a piece over those limits needs the paid large item pickup instead, and the city's spring and fall cleanups take oversize material at no additional fee.

Mattress & bed removal in BellevueCity collection Mattresses and box springs are the second item family the hauler names for bulk pickup, and the same two free pickups a year apply while the piece stays inside the weight and size limits. The mattress rule carries one extra requirement that the furniture rule does not: the mattress or box spring must be wrapped in plastic before it goes to the curb. No charge. Covered by the two free bulk curbside pickups a year for items not exceeding 60 pounds and about four by two feet, as published in the hauler's Bellevue guide; a larger load or an extra pickup is a paid large item collection.

Appliance pickup in BellevueCity collection Bellevue has no curbside appliance route at all. The blue landfill cart refuses appliances, the hauler states plainly that it cannot pick appliances up and is not a drop-off site, and the city's Bellevue guide sends them to Cross Electronics Recycling at 5030 N 72nd or Scrap Central at 2728 N 85th St. Neither the city nor the hauler publishes a rate for the appliance recyclers, because both are private businesses that set their own terms. Call Cross Electronics Recycling or Scrap Central, or ask Papillion Sanitation on 402-346-7800, to confirm current acceptance and any charge before loading an appliance.

The city adds a spring and fall cleanup where oversize or bulky items can be taken for disposal at no additional fee, and anything the trucks refuse has to leave through one of the named drop-offs instead. The local disposal guide
Bellevue contracts its whole residential programme to Papillion Sanitation for single-family and duplex homes, and the bill rides on the household's MUD account. Three carts come with the service: a blue landfill trash cart that sets the price, a free green recycling cart, and a free brown yard waste cart that runs from April 1 to November 30. Furniture and mattresses are the items the hauler will collect as a bulky pickup, with two free pickups a year allowed for pieces up to 60 pounds and about four by two feet, and everything else the trucks refuse, including appliances, tires, paint, motor oil, car batteries and electronics, has a named drop-off instead. Appliances and electronics go to Cross Electronics Recycling, chemicals and paint to Under the Sink, and the county transfer station handles self haul loads.

Electronics have a named drop-off and no curbside route. The Bellevue customer guide sends electronic items to Cross Electronics Recycling, and the trash cart refuses anything the trucks cannot landfill, with appliances and electronics both listed as material that has to leave the household another way.
Neither the city page nor the hauler's Bellevue guide names construction or demolition material, so there is no published city answer for a renovation load. The route the same guide does publish for a load you haul yourself is the Sarpy County Transfer Station, and the county quotes its own hours and pricing by phone.
Exercise equipment is not named in the Bellevue guide, and the free bulk allowance is capped by both weight and size rather than by item type. A treadmill or a weight machine therefore has to be checked against those limits with the hauler before it is set out, because the free pickups only cover pieces up to 60 pounds and about four by two feet.

The city adds a spring and fall cleanup where oversize or bulky items can be taken for disposal at no additional fee, and anything the trucks refuse has to leave through one of the named drop-offs instead.
Tires are refused on every curbside route. The blue landfill cart does not take them, the hauler lists tires among the material that cannot be landfilled, and the Bellevue guide's drop-off table covers appliances, electronics, chemicals, glass and styrofoam but never tires, so the household has to confirm a route before the tires leave the property.
Household chemicals have one named route and no curbside one. Paint, solvents, motor oil, antifreeze and car batteries are all refused in the blue landfill cart, and the Bellevue guide sends household and garden chemicals, paint and fluorescent lights to Under the Sink at 4001 S 120th St.
The handoff matters
Carts go to the curb the night before or by 7 a.m. on the service day, four feet away from poles and mailboxes, two feet apart from each other, with the lids completely closed. The automated trucks can only lift what fits inside the cart, so anything left beside the cart is not collected unless it is a booked bulky pickup or a bag of yard waste during the season. Disabled customers can request walk-up service with a form from the hauler.
Papillion Sanitation Bellevue customer guide with the recycling and refused lists, the drop-off contacts for appliances, electronics, chemicals, glass and styrofoam, the yard waste and tree dump rules, the cart programme and pricing basis, and the oversized item policy with two free bulk pickups a year and the spring and fall city cleanupsThe blue landfill cart refuses paint, solvents, motor oil, appliances, antifreeze, car batteries and tires because they cannot be landfilled, and the same list applies to anything you might otherwise pile beside the cart. Those items leave through the named drop-offs instead: appliances and electronics to Cross Electronics Recycling, chemicals, paint and fluorescent lights to Under the Sink, and self hauled loads and tires to the Sarpy County Transfer Station after a call to confirm hours and pricing.

Yes, with a scheduled bulky pickup and it has to be wrapped in plastic first. The free allowance covers pieces up to 60 pounds and about four by two feet. Three carts: a blue one for landfill trash, a green one for recycling and a brown one for yard waste. They come in 35, 65 and 95 gallon sizes, the bill is based only on the size of the landfill trash cart, and the recycling and yard waste carts are included in that price. Additional carts cost a monthly fee and personal cans are not allowed.Official guidance

Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day are the six dates the city lists, and weekend holidays leave the schedule untouched.
