Choose the right items

One computer setup can be several items.

A separate monitor and tower count separately. Small devices and cables have their own box option. Choose what is actually leaving so your price matches the pickup.

Monitor, desktop or laptop.

Choose Computer monitor for each separate display. Desktop computer covers one tower or one all-in-one computer. A laptop is its own item. Add only the devices going.

Printer or office copier.

A printer with a built-in scanner belongs under Printer. A floor-standing copy machine belongs under Office copier. The shape matters more than the brand.

A box of smaller electronics.

Use Box of electronics for small devices, cables and chargers together in one box. For a large or heavy box, unusual contents or separate batteries, send a photo and confirm the fit before booking.

Televisions and electronic waste

Special rules apply

A very large television is named as a bulky item, so it rides the curbside allowance, while small electronics go into the three city bins and anything too large for a bin waits for the biannual electronics drives.

City cost & eligibility
No charge. Two bulky items a week are included in the monthly Full Service package for television sets that qualify as bulky, with the request made in advance. The published bin list and drive schedule carry no stated charge, which is confirmed with the sanitation division.
When & how
Set a bulky television at the curb on the normal trash day with the request in by 4 p.m. the day before, or use one of the three electronics bins at any time. The biannual drives run on the Saturday before the Spring and Fall clean-ups.
Get it ready
Keep the set dry and do not put it in either cart. Small devices can go to the bins, but keep them out of the bin opening if they do not fit, because the city asks residents not to leave anything outside a bin, and no charge for the bins is published.

Two bulky items a week for Full Service households

Full Service households may set out two bulky items or appliances a week with no extra charge, and the items are left at the curb on the regular trash day. Limited Service households and loads that do not qualify as bulky carry the published charge instead.

City of Cuyahoga Falls Sanitation Department, with Summit County ReWorks for hazardous, tire and electronics handling

Curbside bulky item collection on the regular trash day

A Full Service household with a mattress, couch, appliance, very large television, grill or other item that will not fit in a cart.

Cost & conditions
No charge. Two bulky items a week are included in the monthly Full Service package for city sanitation customers. Limited Service customers are not entitled to free removal of oversized items, and a load the city does not treat as bulky carries the published charge.
Arrange it
Submit the bulky item request through the city's online form or on 330-971-8010 by 4 p.m. the day before the pickup, or by 4 p.m. Friday for a Monday pickup, then set the item at the curb by 7 a.m. on the collection day with three feet of clearance.

Two bulky items a week, and construction material, tires, batteries, dirt, rocks, concrete, bricks, blocks, liquids and hazardous material are refused. A load larger than the bulky allowance needs a special pickup or a roll-off, and car owners should confirm refrigerant handling for an appliance before it goes out.

City of Cuyahoga Falls Sanitation Department, with Summit County ReWorks for hazardous, tire and electronics handling

Summit County hazardous waste collection

A Summit County household with paint, solvents, automotive fluids, batteries, pool chemicals, propane cylinders or mercury devices that cannot go in a cart.

Cost & conditions
Neither the city nor ReWorks publishes a charge for the household hazardous waste collection, so confirm the current terms with ReWorks at 330-374-0383 before you load.
Arrange it
Take the material to 1201 Graham Road in Stow, at the Route 8 overpass, on a collection Thursday from 2 to 7 p.m. while the season is open. The 2026 season's final collection is September 24, 2026, so confirm the next season before planning a trip.

Summit County residents only, and the material has to come from the resident's own home, so business, school, non-profit and government material is refused, as is material gathered from several sources. Containers over five gallons, electronics, freon appliances, scrap tires, latex paint, ammunition, medical waste and explosives are refused as well.

Taking it somewhere yourself?

Self hauling in Cuyahoga Falls means knowing which of three doors the load belongs at. Household hazardous waste goes to the ReWorks collection at 1201 Graham Road in Stow, at the Route 8 overpass, open Thursdays from 2 to 7 p.m. while the season runs, for Summit County residents only, with the 2026 season ending on September 24. Small electronics go into one of the city's three e-waste bins at the Service Complex on Bailey Road, Fire Station 4 on Northampton Road or the Quirk Cultural Center on Grant Avenue, and anything too large for a bin waits for the biannual electronics drives. Tires have no free option, so they go back to the retailer or to a year-round vendor such as the two ReWorks names, and moving more than ten tires needs state registration. Construction material and large clean-outs are the city's own problem to price: a small load can be pre-scheduled as a special pickup for a fee, and a bigger project uses a city roll-off dumpster that accepts what the household carts do not. Everything else that will not fit a cart is a bulky item, which the city takes two at a time on the regular trash day when the request arrives by 4 p.m. the day before. Small electronics drop-off bin

Quirk Cultural Center electronics bin

1201 Grant Avenue, Cuyahoga Falls, OH

Desktop computers and laptops, holiday lights, printers, cell phones, tablets, telephones, modems, routers, DVD players, VCRs, stereos, game consoles, cables, wire, power adapters, ink and toner cartridges, flat screen computer monitors and batteries

The bin is for small electronic items that fit its 42 by 14 inch opening, and residents are asked not to leave anything outside it. The city also places bins at the Service Complex at 2560 Bailey Road and at Fire Station 4 at 3089 Northampton Road, and an item too large for any bin waits for the biannual electronics drives held the Saturday before the Spring and Fall clean-ups.

The city does not publish bin access hours, and the bins sit with the three partner locations for drop-off during their normal building access.

The smallest city electronics option carries no published charge, so confirm the current terms with the sanitation division at 330-971-8010 before a large drop.
