The local disposal guide
Cuyahoga Falls runs its own sanitation department rather than contracting cart collection out. A Full Service household gets a 95 gallon trash cart, a blue-lidded recycle cart, an optional yard waste cart, up to five bundles of brush each week and two oversized items each week, and the two bulky items have to be requested in advance. A mattress, couch, refrigerator or very large television counts as bulky, while construction material, tires, batteries, dirt, rocks, concrete and hazardous material are refused at the curb. The city sends household chemicals to the ReWorks household hazardous waste collection at 1201 Graham Road in Stow, and it keeps three small electronics bins around town for devices that fit.

The handoff matters
