Get it ready
Roll and tape or tie carpet and padding in lengths no longer than five feet and put out one room's worth a week. Take the piece down as far as it will go, keep cushions with the frame, and remember that wooden fencing is cut to four foot by six foot sections before it is collected.
All items go to the curb by 7 a.m. on the collection day. Carts stand at least three feet from other carts, trees, mailboxes and obstructions so the truck can reach them, and an overstuffed cart with the lid open is not collected.

Every bulky item and special pickup request has to reach the sanitation division by 4 p.m. the day before the pickup, and a Monday pickup needs the request by 4 p.m. on the Friday before. Requests go through the city's online form or the sanitation division on 330-971-8010.
Two bulky items a week for Full Service households
Full Service households may set out two bulky items or appliances a week with no extra charge, and the items are left at the curb on the regular trash day. Limited Service households and loads that do not qualify as bulky carry the published charge instead.
Weekly collection is delayed by one day when it falls on or after Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day or New Year's Day, and crews work every other holiday. Yard waste, recyclables and extra clean-up week material follow the same shift that week.
