The authority's landfill takes construction and demolition debris, pre approved residual waste, clean wood excluding particleboard and plywood, and green waste under six inches in diameter, and it charges a tipping fee on top of a two year licence, which costs ten dollars for a residential cash customer and requires current vehicle registration, insurance and a driving licence. Its electronics recycling center on Russell Road takes covered devices free with no licence, five computers or televisions a day, and no help unloading. The authority also operates a recycling drop-off on Russell Road, while the city's own drop-off at 14th and Lehman Streets takes the mandatory recyclables, and Battery Warehouse on Schneider Drive takes lead acid batteries but refuses lithium.
