You have decided what is going. Now give those bags and boxes a pickup day, with a price you can see before anyone arrives.
The move is nearly done.
Book the unwanted bags and boxes left after packing. Choose an available pickup day before you hand back the keys, and arrange to have them outside.
The clear-out can be finished.
You do not need a whole house of junk. Select the bags, boxes and larger items you actually have. Your combined price is shown online.
You want to know it is handled.
When the next collection does not fit your plans, choose a Dropcurb pickup day. Updates keep you informed, and completion photos show when the booked items are gone.
A few simple choices turn a mixed pile into a clear booking. No need to estimate how much of a truck it might fill.
Filled bags and boxes
Count each trash bag or filled household box. Books and media go by the box. Clothes, bedding and shoes go by the filled bag. Toys packed together have a Box of toys choice. Ask us about unusually heavy or oversized bags and boxes first.
Empty cardboard and containers
Empty cardboard is a different choice: choose single empty boxes or tied bundles of 10 flattened boxes. Compacted bales have their own weight-based choices and require loading-dock access. A Storage bin choice covers the empty bin itself; ask us to confirm the contents if they are going too.
Furniture and other larger items
Add the actual larger item alongside your bags and boxes, such as a sofa, chair or mattress. It has its own price and preparation. Keep construction materials and items needing special handling out of ordinary household bags.

Lebanon requires every property to have trash and recycling service from a licensed hauler, and landlords have to provide it for their tenants. The city's own crews handle recycling containers and the drop-off center rather than rubbish, so bulky household material runs through the hauler.
City cost & eligibility
Haulers set their own residential and bulky rates and the city publishes no tariff, so confirm the price and the allowed volume with the hauler you contract. The authority's gate charge is a separate option and needs its own licence.
When & how
Set material out according to your hauler's schedule, keep the hauler's recycling collection at least every two weeks as the city requires, and use the city drop-off center at 14th and Lehman Streets for recyclables between collections.
Get it ready
Keep recyclables separate and clean, because mandatory materials must be separated under the ordinance and contaminated loads can be refused, and never use a recycling container for trash. Plate glass, light bulbs, plastic bags, foil and aerosol or paint cans are not recyclable and belong with the rubbish.
Separate recyclables, and never use the recycling container for trash
The city makes recycling mandatory and lists glass bottles and jars, plastic bottles marked 1 and 2, bi-metallic food cans, newspapers, non glossy office paper, magazines, flattened cardboard and telephone books as the materials that must be separated. Plate glass, light bulbs, plastic bags, foil, aerosol and paint cans and household trash are not recyclable, and a recycling container may never be used as a rubbish can.
Use a permitted, accessible outdoor spot. Arrange the move out of your home, keep shared access clear and follow your confirmation’s readiness instructions. Check with your building about access or staging limits before booking.
Any household in Lebanon, because the city requires every property to have trash and recycling service from a licensed hauler.
Cost & conditions
Licensed haulers set their own residential and bulky item rates and the city publishes no tariff, so confirm the price, the collection schedule and what the hauler takes before signing up.
Arrange it
Use a hauler from the licensed list kept at the Department of Public Works, arrange recycling collection at least every two weeks as the ordinance requires, and put recyclables out separately in a marked container.
Haulers may refuse contaminated recyclables, and no hauler is required to take a hazardous product, a tire or construction material, which have their own county and retail routes.
City of Lebanon recycling programme with the Greater Lebanon Refuse Authority for disposal
Use the city recycling drop-off center
A household with recyclables between collections, or material the hauler does not take at the kerb.
Cost & conditions
No charge. Residents using the City of Lebanon Recycling Drop-Off Center at 14th and Lehman Streets, a programme the city publishes with no fee, and free recycling containers from the Highway Garage at 10th and Oak Streets.
Arrange it
Drop material at 14th and Lehman Streets on Wednesday or Saturday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. all year, or on Thursday and Friday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. between November and February and noon to 5 p.m. between March and October.
The center takes recyclables rather than trash or bulky household items, and the accepted list is the city's mandatory material list, which refuses plate glass, light bulbs, plastic bags, foil and aerosol or paint cans.
Self haul in Lebanon County means the Greater Lebanon Refuse Authority and the drop-off network it lists. The authority's landfill takes construction and demolition debris, pre approved residual waste, clean wood excluding particleboard and plywood, and green waste under six inches in diameter, and it charges a tipping fee on top of a two year licence, which costs ten dollars for a residential cash customer and requires current vehicle registration, insurance and a driving licence. Its electronics recycling center on Russell Road takes covered devices free with no licence, five computers or televisions a day, and no help unloading. The authority also operates a recycling drop-off on Russell Road, while the city's own drop-off at 14th and Lehman Streets takes the mandatory recyclables, and Battery Warehouse on Schneider Drive takes lead acid batteries but refuses lithium. Appliances and scrap metal go to CSR-Brandywine on North 14th Street, which charges a freon fee per appliance, and tires are priced by size at the landfill or taken by the local service businesses the city lists. Before you book
A few things worth knowing.
Bulk junk removal, from choosing your item to pickup day in Lebanon.
How much does bulk junk removal cost in Lebanon?+
A trash bag is $59 as the first item and $10 additional. A filled household box is $59 as the first item. Add your actual items and quantities to see the combined price before booking. Loading, transportation and disposal are included; any applicable sales tax is shown before payment.
Can you pick up bags of junk today?+
Book by 2pm in the pickup address’s local time for same-day pickup. Available dates appear at checkout. Have the booked bags and boxes outside and accessible according to your confirmation. You receive pickup updates and completion photos; the booking is for a day rather than an exact arrival time.
Do I count every object inside a bag or box?+
No. Count the filled bags or boxes using the matching choice. Books and media go in Filled household box; clothes, bedding and shoes go in Bag of clothes & bedding; packed toys have a Box of toys choice. Empty cardboard is separate, with individual empty boxes and bundles of 10 flattened boxes. Heavy, oversized or unusual contents need a photo review before booking.
Can you pick up a small loose pile of household junk?+
Yes. Estimate how many trash bags the small household pile would fill, and bag or box as much as possible. Select furniture and other larger items separately. There is no extra charge just because the pile is loose. Send a photo first if the count or contents are unclear. A household Dumpster Bag choice does not accept construction debris.
Can I book bags, boxes and furniture together?+
Yes. Select the bags and boxes, then add each larger item using its own catalog choice. The booking shows one combined price for the selected items. Move everything to an accessible outdoor spot before pickup; indoor carrying and sorting are not included. Keep anything you want to retain apart from the booked items and identify what goes in your photos and notes.
Who is responsible for trash in a Lebanon rental property?+
The landlord. The city requires landlords to provide recycling and trash removal for their properties, to keep properly marked recycling containers and lidded trash containers on site, to write recycling into the lease, and to make sure removal happens at least every two weeks.Official guidance
Where do I get a recycling container in Lebanon?+
Free recycling containers are available at the City of Lebanon Highway Garage at 10th and Oak Streets, and they must be used only for recyclables and never as trash cans. Questions about the programme go to the city recycling coordinator on 717-639-2800.Official guidance
Is recycling mandatory in Lebanon?+
Yes. City Ordinance Section 32C Article 930 makes recycling mandatory inside the city limits, on top of Pennsylvania Act 101, and failing to comply can bring a fine. Landlords must provide recycling and trash service for their properties and must require tenants to recycle in the lease.Official guidance
Does the city of Lebanon collect the trash itself?+
No. Removal of all trash and recycling has to be done by a licensed waste hauler, and the list of licensed haulers is kept at the Department of Public Works. The city does run the recycling programme, the free container supply at the Highway Garage on 10th and Oak Streets and the drop-off center at 14th and Lehman Streets.Official guidance
What do I need before using the county landfill?+
A valid licence from the Greater Lebanon Refuse Authority, bought at the scale house and valid for two years from November 1 of an odd year. A residential cash customer licence requires current vehicle registration, proof of insurance and a valid driver's licence, and it is separate from the tipping fees charged when the load is weighed.Official guidance
