Count each trash bag or filled household box. Books and media go by the box. Clothes, bedding and shoes go by the filled bag. Toys packed together have a Box of toys choice. Ask us about unusually heavy or oversized bags and boxes first.
Empty cardboard is a different choice: choose single empty boxes or tied bundles of 10 flattened boxes. Compacted bales have their own weight-based choices and require loading-dock access. A Storage bin choice covers the empty bin itself; ask us to confirm the contents if they are going too.

One item goes each week, others are subject to a fine, and the pile belongs at the curb rather than in front of the house.
A piece of furniture is the first example the city gives for the weekly bulk allowance, so a couch or a chair goes out with the regular collection once a week at no separate charge, and the only published limits are one item a week and the placement rule.
A mattress and a bedspring are both named in the city's bulk examples, so a bed set goes out with the regular collection inside the weekly allowance rather than going to a drop off or a hauler.
Large appliances are carved out of the bulk allowance. The city states that they are not included in bulk items and are subject to a removal fee, and it directs residents to Public Works for questions, but no amount is published on the pages kept here, so the appliance route is a call rather than a rate.
Electronics have a county home rather than a curbside one.
