The TV’s type and size determine which item to choose. A new model and an old model can use the same option if their shape and screen size match.
Flat-screen TVs
Measure the screen diagonally, corner to corner, without the frame. Choose under 42 inches or 42 inches and larger. A TV measuring exactly 42 inches belongs to the larger option.
Tube TVs
An older tube or CRT television has curved glass and a deep, heavy body. Choose Tube TV even if its screen is small. A rear-projection TV is different; send a photo before booking so we can check the fit.
TV stands and other electronics
The TV price covers the television. Add a media console, computer monitor or other item separately if it is going too. Choose only what you want removed and review the combined price.

City cost & eligibility
No charge. Included with the residential franchise service, once a month per household, up to six cubic yards with each item under 150 pounds and containerized household debris within the published box and weight limits. Items outside the bulk category need a special collection arranged with the operator, which carries an additional charge.
When & how
No call is needed for the monthly collection. A Monday trash day gives the first Saturday of the month, Tuesday the second, Wednesday or Thursday the third, and Friday the fourth, and items go out by 7 a.m. on that Saturday.

When & how
Put the television out by 7 a.m. on the household's monthly bulky Saturday, and keep it out of the garbage and recycling carts.
Get it ready
Keep the screen intact and inside the weight limit, tape any loose glass if the set is broken, and erase personal data if the device is a smart television before it leaves the house.
Trash is weekly and recycling and compost run on the same day, with recycling every other week. Carts go out no later than 7 a.m. for a pickup window between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m., at least three feet apart and three feet from mailboxes, cars, fences, gas meters and drainage ditches, with 16 feet of clearance above the cart and the wheels facing the residence. Carts come back inside or behind the front building line within 24 hours.
One bulky Saturday a month, boxed and under 150 pounds
The bulky collection runs without a call on the same Saturday every month, tied to the trash day, and everything has to be at the curb by 7 a.m. Each household gets up to six cubic yards, every item has to weigh under 150 pounds, and household debris has to be in a container no larger than two feet by two feet by four feet weighing no more than 50 pounds. Contractor debris, fence materials, tires, batteries, propane tanks, car parts, household chemicals and loose debris cannot go out.
