When a holiday falls on a weekday, that collection day and the days after it move forward one day, so Monday runs on Tuesday and so on through Friday to Saturday. A holiday on a weekend causes no delay, and the days before a holiday are not affected.
If the cart, bulky pile or yard waste was out by 7 a.m. and was not collected by the end of the day, call CARDS on 877-592-2737, because each truck carries video service verification. A household that simply forgot to set the cart out can pay a fee for a return trip.
