A few pieces, one pickup

Your room has changed. The old furniture can go.

The desk you no longer use. The dresser that doesn’t fit the new layout. The chairs left over after a move. Choose the pieces you’re done with and give them a pickup day, without arranging a quote visit.

Different pieces. One clear total.

Choose each piece

A table and four chairs are five items.

You don’t need to guess how much space your furniture fills in a truck. Match each piece to the catalog, then add its quantity. Your total updates as you go.

Tables and chairs

Choose the table, then add each chair separately. Coffee tables, side tables and dining tables have their own options. A large or substantially heavy table has a different choice.

Dressers and mirrors

Match the dresser’s overall size. Add a separate dresser mirror as its own item if it is leaving too. Empty drawers and keep the belongings you want before moving the dresser outside.

Desks and bookshelves

Choose by construction, not height alone. A basic desk is different from a heavy desk with a substantial body. A tall, lightweight bookcase can still be a standard bookshelf. Empty it first.

Couches, chairs and household furniture

Accepted with preparation

Heavy or bulky trash runs on every service day, and sofas, chairs and tables go out with it, with a limit of one or two large items in a collection.

City cost & eligibility
Residential collection is contracted and no per item bulky price is published, so confirm any cost with the city and the hauler at 281-420-5300 before the piece goes out.
When & how
Put the furniture at the curb no later than 7 a.m. on your collection day, and give the crew room to work around it.
Get it ready
Keep the piece out of the trash cart and out of the recycling bin, and leave furniture that contains tile or ceramic material off the curb because the hauler does not take it.

Right item.
Right place.

Bundle and bag limits apply on every service day

Heavy or bulky trash is offered on every service day, so most pieces can ride with a regular collection. Large items are limited to one or two, yard debris to five bags under forty pounds, and limbs, fence pickets, lumber, carpet and flooring to five tied bundles under forty pounds and four feet with limb diameter under three inches. Trash goes out by 7 a.m., no less than three feet from the street with four feet of clearance all around, and never behind a gate because the crew will not enter a fenced yard.

What never goes to the curb

The curbside crews refuse dirt, mulch, sod, rocks, bricks, tile, concrete, tires, car batteries, motor oil, cooking oil, pool tables, storm debris, construction debris and anything a contractor generates, and hazardous material is refused as well. Paint cans go out only when the paint is dry and the lids are off, limbs are refused when they are mixed with bagged leaves, lumber, wood or plastic, and a refrigerator needs the refrigerant drained and a bill attached before it leaves the house.

Cost & conditions
The residential programme is contracted and no per item bulky price is published, so confirm any cost with the city and the hauler at 281-420-5300.
Arrange it
Put the items at the curb by 7 a.m. on a regular service day, keep within the one or two large item, five bag and five bundle limits, and leave the load clear of vehicles and trailers.

Pool tables, storm debris, construction debris, contractor waste, dirt, rocks, concrete, tires, batteries, motor oil and hazardous material are refused, and furniture containing tile or ceramic material is not collected.

Order a roll off container for a whole house cleanout

A household clearing a full house or a load too large for the curbside limits and the Green Center.

Cost & conditions
Roll off containers are quoted per job rather than published as a rate, so call the hauler at 281-313-2378 and choose option 2 to arrange one.
Arrange it
Call the hauler before the cleanout, describe the volume and the material, and keep refuse such as concrete, tile and hazardous waste out of the quote.

The crew will not collect construction debris, contractor waste or hazardous material, so the container is for household bulky waste rather than a demolition load.

Taking it somewhere yourself?

Baytown residents can self-haul to the Green Center at 1601 W Main, which takes household debris, brush and tree limbs of eight feet or less, electronic waste such as televisions, monitors, computers and printers, and recyclable paper, cans, textiles, glass and plastics. The site is residents only, requires a driver's licence and a City of Baytown water bill with matching names, refuses commercial loads and wood such as lumber, landscape timbers and fencing, and charges a cash load fee based on the vehicle and trailer combination, with a three foot maximum load height, no trailer over sixteen feet and eight tires per household each calendar year. Brush can also go out for the weekly zone pickup by 7 a.m. on Monday of the collection week, and household hazardous waste goes to the city event twice a year or to the Harris County facility at 6900 Hahl Road by appointment. worth knowing.

Furniture removal, from choosing your item to pickup day in Baytown.

How much does furniture removal cost in Baytown?

Choose the type and size of each piece to see its price. For example, a medium dresser is $79 as the first item or $29 as an additional item. Your total starts with the highest first-item price in your selection, then uses the additional-item price for every other item. Review the complete total and any applicable tax before payment.

Can I get same-day furniture pickup in Baytown?

Book by 2pm at your pickup address for same-day pickup and choose from the dates shown at checkout. Arrange to have the furniture outside according to your confirmation. You receive a text when your hauler is on the way and photos after collection.

Will you remove furniture from inside my apartment?

Dropcurb starts outside. You arrange indoor carrying, including any interior stairs or elevator trip. We load and take away the furniture from an accessible outdoor location. Check your building’s rules and plan the route out before booking.

Can you take several different furniture items in one pickup?

Yes. Add each piece and its quantity to one booking. A dining table and four chairs are five items; a separate mirror is not included with a dresser. You can mix eligible items from different rooms and review their combined total before paying.

Do I need to take furniture apart before pickup?

You arrange any disassembly needed to move the furniture out of your home and into an accessible outdoor pickup spot. Dropcurb does not provide indoor disassembly or carrying. If you are unsure which catalog choice matches a dismantled or unusual piece, send a photo and ask before booking.
