When & how
At the curb by 7 a.m. on the Monday morning of the collection week, and no earlier than the Friday before, because placing material out earlier may be a code violation. The hauler may collect on any day of the scheduled week.
Get it ready
Keep the mattress and box spring dry and inside the ten cubic yard pile, clear of the carts, and leave the piece out for the whole week because the collection day within the week is not fixed. Keep it out of the green lid cart, since anything outside the cart on a normal week is not collected.
Carts out by 7 a.m., never more than a night early
Carts go to the curb or the alley by 7 a.m. on the collection day and may be set out no earlier than 6 p.m. or one hour before sunset the night before, whichever comes first. Everything has to be inside the cart with the lid closed, and material left beside or on top of the cart is not collected.
