A new use for the same space, once the old machine is outside and gone.

Room for what comes next

Your space can have a new purpose.

A home office. Room for a guest. A little more floor to enjoy. When an old machine is in the way, a clear pickup plan makes the next step easier.

The room is changing.

Book the equipment you are ready to let go of, whether it is one exercise bike or several machines. See the total before making the plan.

A replacement is coming.

Check whether your retailer includes removal. If the old treadmill is still your responsibility, give it a pickup day of its own.

It is not making the move.

Settle the price online, arrange to have it outside, and follow the pickup through text updates and completion photos. One less thing to coordinate before the keys change hands.

Match the machine

The right choice covers the right equipment.

Choose by the type of equipment. A brand name does not mean a different item, but a walking pad and a full treadmill do.

Treadmill, walking pad or commercial model?

Household treadmill includes folding home models with a tall console. Choose Walking pad for a compact under-desk model, or Commercial treadmill for a large gym machine. All equipment opens those choices.

An exercise bike, elliptical or rower

Spin, upright, recumbent and air bikes all use Exercise bike, including Peloton and other brands. One elliptical includes its connected base, handles and pedals. Rowing machines and Pilates reformers have their own choices.

Weights, racks and benches

Add together the pounds of loose dumbbells, kettlebells, plates and barbells. Free weights are priced in 10 lb units, rounding the combined weight up. For example, 25 lb uses three units. Add a stand, rack or bench separately if it is going too.

Ready for pickup

Plan the move outside before pickup day.

A machine can be too heavy or awkward for a solo move. Arrange suitable help for indoor carrying, stairs or any dismantling needed to reach the outdoor pickup spot.

A pickup day is not an exact arrival window. Tell us before booking about a shared loading area, restricted outdoor access or equipment whose size or setup you are unsure how to select.

Exercise equipment

Special rules apply

Exercise equipment is not named on either bulky list, and a single item weighing more than 150 pounds is prohibited, so a machine only goes out if the hauler confirms it fits the service.

City cost & eligibility
Exercise equipment is not named in the acceptable or prohibited bulky lists, the bulky service is limited to two cubic yards a pickup and a single item over 150 pounds is refused, so call Community Waste Disposal on 972-392-9300 option 2 with the machine and its weight before it goes to the curb.
When & how
Call the hauler first, then put the machine at the front curb by 7:00 a.m. on the service day of a bulk week only if the collection is confirmed.
Get it ready
Take the machine down as far as it will come apart, keep the weights and parts with it so the weight can be judged, and keep the pile inside the two cubic yard allowance and off the cart lids.

Carts out by 7 a.m. with three feet of clearance

Trash and recycling go to the curb before 7:00 a.m. on the weekly collection day, upright with the lids fully closed and the handles toward the house, at least three feet from each other and three feet from mailboxes, parked cars, fences, gas meters and drainage ditches. Household trash goes in bags inside the gray cart, recyclables go loose, clean and dry in the blue cart, and a cart over the arm's lifting limit or holding prohibited material is not serviced.

Bulky weeks come twice a month

Bulky waste and tied and bundled brush go out with the regular service day twice a month, in the first and third full weeks of the month for Yellow Week addresses and the second and fourth full weeks for Blue Week addresses, starting from the first full week of each month. The load is limited to two cubic yards of bulky material, brush is tied or bundled no larger than four feet by two feet and 50 pounds a bundle, and everything is at the front curb by 7:00 a.m. on the service day of the bulk week.

What the bulky list refuses

Single items weighing more than 150 pounds, commercial construction and remodeling debris, loose brush, loose construction and remodeling debris, loose household debris that is not boxed, additional trash bags, tires, batteries, propane tanks and household hazardous waste are all prohibited on the bulky collection. Household chemicals, tires and used electronics instead go to the X-treme Green Events the hauler runs three times a year, and a household that needs more than the standard allowance has to arrange a paid custom collection.

City of Celina with Community Waste Disposal (CWD) as the contracted provider

Put the bulky load out in a bulk week

A household with furniture, an appliance, a small machine, bundled carpet, fence panels or tied brush inside the two cubic yard allowance.

Cost & conditions
A load inside the two cubic yard allowance carries no separate charge because it is part of the contracted residential service the household already pays for, while a load beyond the allowance needs a paid custom collection quote from Community Waste Disposal on 972-392-9300 option 2, so confirm before an oversized pile goes out.
Arrange it
Put the material at the front curb by 7:00 a.m. on the household's service day during its bulk week and leave it there until the truck comes, with brush tied or bundled and loose household debris boxed.

Only two cubic yards of bulky material go out per pickup, single items over 150 pounds are refused, commercial and loose construction debris is refused, and tires, batteries, propane tanks and household hazardous waste are prohibited and have to go to an X-treme Green Event instead.

Ask the hauler for a custom collection quote

A household whose pile is larger than the two cubic yard bulky allowance, or whose loose brush, project debris or machine will not fit the standard service.

Cost & conditions
The hauler quotes an oversized collection privately after reviewing photographs of the pile and publishes no rate, so the price depends on the material and the volume and has to be confirmed on 972-392-9300 option 2 before the load is set out.
Arrange it
Photograph the pile from the front, the back and the side, send the photographs to the hauler with the address, and confirm the quoted price before the collection day.

The three photographs are required before a quote is given, the standard prohibited list still applies to whatever is collected, and a household cannot simply put an oversized pile at the curb and expect it to be taken.

Taking it somewhere yourself?

Celina has no city drop off yard. The hauler's published routes for material that cannot go in a cart or on a bulky pile are the X-treme Green Events it runs three times a year in the city, where household hazardous waste, automotive tires, used electronics and household metal goods are collected together and confidential document shredding is available on site, with the city's Clean Sweep program running alongside. Because no event address, schedule or fee is published on the city or hauler pages, residents have to call Community Waste Disposal on 972-392-9300 option 2 to confirm the next event and any charge. Brush and bulky material that fits the standard service stays at home and goes to the front curb on a bulk week instead, tied and bundled brush is unlimited within the four foot by two foot and 50 pound bundle rule, and anything larger has to be quoted privately after the hauler reviews three photographs of the pile. Can you pick up a treadmill or exercise bike today?

Book by 2pm in the pickup address’s local time for same-day pickup. Available dates appear at checkout. Have the equipment outside and accessible according to your confirmation. You receive pickup updates and completion photos; we book a day rather than an exact appointment time.

Will you dismantle my treadmill or carry it out of the basement?
