The new bathroom is ready, but the old vanity is still outside. A replaced door is taking up space you need. Put those leftover items on a pickup plan, with the price settled and updates through the final haul-away.

Match your item

Construction cleanup starts with the right items.

We currently accept the doors, toilets and bathroom vanities listed here, already detached and ready outside. Choose each item separately. Mixed drywall, tile, concrete, lumber and demolition rubble are not accepted, including in bags.

Doors

Count each detached door panel separately. Have it removed from its hinges before pickup. A whole installed doorway or garage door is not the same item.

Toilets

Choose Toilet for an ordinary household toilet that has already been disconnected, drained and moved outside. Text a photo before booking if yours is broken or has loose sharp pieces.

Bathroom vanities

Choose the small, standard or large bathroom vanity that matches your sink cabinet. A makeup table has a separate choice. Plumbing disconnection and removal from the wall happen before pickup.

  1. Arrange the removal work

Have the fixture safely detached and any plumbing or electrical connections handled by an appropriate professional. We do not remove installed fixtures or perform demolition.

  2. Keep the booked items separate

Have the fixtures empty and ready at ground level. Keep them apart from rubble, loose renovation materials, tools and anything you want to keep.

  3. Show the outdoor handoff

Use a permitted outdoor spot with a clear path. Add a location photo and notes on your order page so the right entrance and the right items are easy to identify.

Construction and demolition debris

Not on the regular city route

Large amounts of construction debris are refused in The Colony's bulk pile, which names tile, flooring, roofing, long dimensional lumber, concrete, rocks and gravel. The city sends that work to a roll-off container instead.

City cost & eligibility
The city directs a construction or demolition roll-off to the Republic Services construction desk on 844-677-7378 and publishes no container rate, so the size, the material and the price are confirmed with the contractor before delivery.
When & how
Not on the bulk Monday at all; a roll-off container is reserved through the contractor for the project.
Get it ready
Keep construction debris out of the bulk pile, out of the green and blue carts and out of the hazardous waste drop-off, which refuses commercial waste. Reserve the container before the work starts, and keep large metal objects and steel or fence posts out of the bulk pile as well.

The handoff matters

Right item.
Right place.

What never goes in the bulk pile

Hazardous liquids of any kind, large metal objects, large amounts of construction debris such as tile, flooring, roofing, long dimensional lumber, concrete, rocks and gravel, tires, televisions and steel or fence posts are all refused in the bulk pile. Those loads go to the hazardous waste drop-off on Colony Boulevard or into a roll-off container reserved through the contractor.

With a new purchase

Reserve a roll-off for a project

A household or contractor with construction or demolition debris that the bulk pile refuses.

Cost & conditions
The city directs the roll-off request to the Republic Services construction desk on 844-677-7378 and publishes no container rate, so confirm the size, the material and the price with the contractor before it is delivered.
Arrange it
Call the construction desk, describe the project and the access, and arrange the container delivery and pickup on the contractor's schedule.

A quoted private service rather than a city set-out, and hazardous liquids still have to reach the city drop-off rather than going into the container.

The Colony roll-off information

Taking it somewhere yourself?

Self-hauling in The Colony runs through the city's own drop-off programme. The household hazardous waste site at 5576 N. Colony Blvd, in the parking lot east of Fire Station #2, takes electronics including televisions of all sizes, household chemicals, oil based paints, solvents, gasoline in a five gallon container, fluorescent bulbs, batteries, medications and sharps, and it opens three times a month with a Texas driver's licence and a current utility bill needed at the gate. Oil, antifreeze, car batteries and tires may also be taken to the city maintenance drop-off at 1 Harris Plaza, Suite 2, Monday to Thursday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. A household with an active water account can ask City Hall for a landfill pass that allows one trip into the Camelot Landfill, and construction and demolition loads are refused in the bulk pile, so they go into a roll-off container reserved through the contractor. The curbside bulk Monday remains the cheapest route for furniture, appliances, carpet and extra bags of trash. Before you book

A few things
worth knowing.

Construction debris removal, from choosing your item to pickup day in The Colony.

How much does construction debris removal cost in The Colony?

Pricing is per accepted item. A detached door is $99 as a single item, an ordinary toilet is $79, and a small bathroom vanity is $99. Larger vanities have their own choices. Select the listed items to see the exact combined price. These prices do not cover mixed rubble or loose building materials. Loading, transportation and disposal are included; applicable sales tax appears before payment.

Can I get same-day toilet or vanity pickup in The Colony?

Book by 2pm at your pickup address for same-day pickup, where available. Checkout shows the dates you can choose. Arrange disconnection, removal and the move outside first, then have the fixture ready by the time in your confirmation. We text you before arrival and provide pickup photos when it is done.

Will you disconnect a sink or take a door off its hinges?

The fixture must already be detached, disconnected and accessible outside at ground level. Arrange plumbing, electrical work, removal from walls or hinges, and indoor carrying before pickup. Dropcurb handles loading and haul-away from your outdoor pickup spot.

Can I add bags of drywall, tile or other demolition waste?

Mixed drywall, tile, concrete, lumber and demolition rubble are not accepted. This page offers pickup for the listed doors, toilets and bathroom vanities that are already removed. Do not book loose building materials as household trash bags or as an extra item. Arrange suitable disposal for those materials with your contractor or a debris specialist.

Can a door, toilet and vanity go in the same pickup?

Yes. Add each listed fixture separately and choose the correct vanity size. Each detached door panel counts as one item. The combined price appears before you book. Keep the fixtures together outside, separate from anything staying, and add a location photo on your order page.

Where does construction debris go in The Colony?

Not in the bulk pile, which refuses large amounts of debris including tile, flooring, roofing, long dimensional lumber, concrete, rocks and gravel. The city tells residents to reserve a roll-off dumpster for construction or demolition through the Republic Services construction desk on 844-677-7378, and the hazardous waste centre refuses commercial waste as well.Official guidance

How often is bulk pickup in The Colony?

Twice a month on a designated Monday. A household whose trash day is Tuesday or Wednesday has bulk pickup on the first and third Mondays, and a household whose trash day is Thursday or Friday has it on the second and fourth Mondays. The load is limited to four cubic yards and goes in your normal collection area.Official guidance
