Choose the table, then add each chair separately. Coffee tables, side tables and dining tables have their own options. A large or substantially heavy table has a different choice.
Dressers and mirrors
Match the dresser’s overall size. Add a separate dresser mirror as its own item if it is leaving too. Empty drawers and keep the belongings you want before moving the dresser outside.
Desks and bookshelves
Choose by construction, not height alone. A basic desk is different from a heavy desk with a substantial body. A tall, lightweight bookcase can still be a standard bookshelf. Empty it first.

Bulk waste is collected twice a month on a designated Monday, and which Mondays applies depends on the normal trash day: a Tuesday or Wednesday household gets the first and third Mondays, and a Thursday or Friday household gets the second and fourth. The load is limited to four cubic yards.
City cost & eligibility
No charge. Bulk pickup is part of the residential collection the household already pays for through the city contract with Republic Services and no per-item fee is published for it. A roll-off container for a project is a quoted service instead.

Get it ready
Cut wooden items and carpet into four foot lengths or less, cut cabinets and hot tubs in half, and cut fence panels in half. Bag and tie loose material in bags of 50 pounds or less, drain appliances that hold water, and remove the oil and gas from a mower before it goes out.
Furniture heads the acceptable list for the twice monthly bulk pickup, and carpet and carpet pads are on the same list. Neither published list requires wrapping, but carpet and wooden pieces have to be cut down before they go out.

No charge. Furniture and carpet are collected inside the twice monthly residential bulk service with no published per-item fee.

Bulk pickup runs twice a month on a Monday set by the household trash day: Tuesday and Wednesday routes use the first and third Mondays, and Thursday and Friday routes use the second and fourth Mondays. Items go in the normal collection area and the load is limited to four cubic yards.
Carts closed, three feet clear, nothing beside them
Carts go out by 7 a.m. on the collection day at the alley edge or driveway flares with the lids fully closed, at least three feet from the nearest object. All trash has to be inside the cart, because bags, boxes and other carts are not picked up, and green waste goes out in paper lawn bags or the household's own container with no plastic bags.

Arrange it
Set the material out on the designated Monday for your trash day, in the normal collection area, with the load kept inside four cubic yards and loose items bagged and tied.
Four cubic yards per collection, two collections a month, and no hazardous liquids, large metal objects, big construction debris, tires, televisions or steel and fence posts. Freon units need a technician's paperwork attached.
Self-hauling in The Colony runs through the city's own drop-off programme. The household hazardous waste site at 5576 N. Colony Blvd, in the parking lot east of Fire Station #2, takes electronics including televisions of all sizes, household chemicals, oil based paints, solvents, gasoline in a five gallon container, fluorescent bulbs, batteries, medications and sharps, and it opens three times a month with a Texas driver's licence and a current utility bill needed at the gate. Oil, antifreeze, car batteries and tires may also be taken to the city maintenance drop-off at 1 Harris Plaza, Suite 2, Monday to Thursday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. A household with an active water account can ask City Hall for a landfill pass that allows one trip into the Camelot Landfill, and construction and demolition loads are refused in the bulk pile, so they go into a roll-off container reserved through the contractor. Choose the type and size of each piece to see its price. For example, a medium dresser is $79 as the first item or $29 as an additional item. Your total starts with the highest first-item price in your selection, then uses the additional-item price for every other item. Review the complete total and any applicable tax before payment.
Can I get same-day furniture pickup in The Colony?+
Book by 2pm at your pickup address for same-day pickup and choose from the dates shown at checkout. Arrange to have the furniture outside according to your confirmation. You receive a text when your hauler is on the way and photos after collection.
Will you remove furniture from inside my apartment?+
Dropcurb starts outside. You arrange indoor carrying, including any interior stairs or elevator trip. We load and take away the furniture from an accessible outdoor location. Check your building’s rules and plan the route out before booking.
Can you take several different furniture items in one pickup?+
Yes. Add each piece and its quantity to one booking. A dining table and four chairs are five items; a separate mirror is not included with a dresser. You can mix eligible items from different rooms and review their combined total before paying.
Do I need to take furniture apart before pickup?+
You arrange any disassembly needed to move the furniture out of your home and into an accessible outdoor pickup spot. Dropcurb does not provide indoor disassembly or carrying. If you are unsure which catalog choice matches a dismantled or unusual piece, send a photo and ask before booking.
